Hot Off The Press In Somerset County!

This just off the press. The SCDCC is sending to the Governor the names of James "Bevel Ears" East, Sammy's neighbor and hand pick, and Cindy "Hug a Tree If It's Not On My Property" Stevens to fill Sammy Boston's seat.

Ole Jim is #1 and Cindy was #2. Nothing like picking your replacement/boss while you vacation in Florida. Jim is a "good ole boy" sure not to make waves for Sammy. Also lives in the northern end of the County with the rest of the good ole boys here in Somerset. This is the last County to be readmitted to the Union. I guess we are still awaiting permission.

Can you believe it. Educated people apply, knowledgeable business people apply, people with Somerset County at heart apply, and for what, to be beat out by retired State Trooper/Farmer/Liquor Board Member. Guess he doesn't have enough checks coming in.

Well, Boss Hog must be in good humor tonight. But we can't seem to find too many Daisy Dukes down there. The good ole boy system is alive and well in Somerset County. I guess that why some refer to it as SOME-R-SET for life while the rest of them grin and pay their taxes. Would someone please give them a break. Must be the product of too much inbreeding.

  2. Did I hear something from the Grand Wizard, King-of- Know-It-All? Can't you people keep this nuisance in Delaware. Close the gate and hog-tie this pain where I sit. Please help Somerset County out and report any traffic violations Albero does to the nearest police station. Take his picture with your cell phone everytime you see him. Let's worry this SOB to death and force him to return to his cage in Delaware.Thank you citizens. Much appreciated.

  3. The Dems are a corrupt bunch of people down here. They look after their own, thats just the way it is. Judge's, commissioner's, prosecutor, board member's, Sheriff, Warden, all Democrats, and as crooked as they can possible be. Wake up Somerset, demand better.

  4. 5:07, I'm from Somerset and hope that it is you that move out of this county. If you think all is well here, you have a problem, not Joe. Joe has done more to expose wrongdoing in Somerset than anyone else within this county or elsewhere. We would be better off in Somerset if Joe would take up residence here. He is the type we need. Not a bunch of wimps who will sit back and trust goverment to take care of all of us from the womb to the tomb.

  5. Jim lives in the far southern end of the county close to sysco and is a long way from being sams neighbor

  6. Gee folks, another Republican and Joe a$$-kisser just woke up.He worries about his southern neighbor too. We are so lucky.

  7. Anonymous 5:17 - A poet from my County has emerged [womb to the tomb]. Pretty good neighbor. You definitely have a future.

  8. I wonder if Ms Hicks is as liberal
as Mr. Widdowson was. Him and the Judge "Hot Dog" ran the county ,
even the state police in that barracks. Yeh , they were the good ole days."NOT"

  9. Joe...seriously...what is your stake as a Delmar resident in being in everyone else's business? EVERYONE has an agenda...who or what is backing yours? You're just a little TOO overzealous.

  10. You might say I truly enjoy the Underdog.

Besides, there's no question that when I start advertising some time next month, Somerset County is going to make me millions.

Think about it good Sir, YOU'RE here, aren't you? The word has spread so fast, we're enjoying record days each and every day of the week.

My property is right next to the Md. state line and I'm only a few miles from Salisbury. I wasn't stupid enough to buy a home in Salisbury and pay all those taxes. So I reside in Delmar, De. got a problem with that? Have you ever visited Delmar or even Delaware for that matter? Or are you one of those hicks that never left the house and all your kids names are Billy Bob? I'm just poking some fun, don't mind me.

Anyhow, I have what is called my Freedom of Speech. So do you and that's why you were able to comment back.

I have told many people in the past. We have the most unique complaint department in the world. See that "X" in the top right corner of your main screen? Just click on that and it will direct you immediately to our complaint department.

Thanks for visiting and you have a wonderful weekend.

  11. Well, you have a spineless State Committee, and all the rest. Good people are left to the side of the road while supposed leaders of the community are sent to the Governer's office for approval. It makes me sick....

  13. anonymous 8:45,

You mean where they fold one corner of a dollar bill so they know you're on of them to get in????

Yeah Somerset County, I'm way onto you and have been for several years.

  14. Actually I am a ma'am not a sir. And, I would be very familiar with Delmar- I live here too. I would just be curious to know why you have no words to say about our fine town but have so much to say about everyone else's. Personally it would seem to me that your efforts could be better directed outside of useless and opinionated drivel. Haven't you ever heard that opinions are like....well, I am certain that a man of your "status" knows that phrase well.

  15. I know both Mr. East and Ms. Stevens. Both are nice enough people but neither are exactly commissioner material. I think the Govenor needs to know about the centrial committee he has down here representing him.

  16. I have just found this site and read this information. I am flabergasted to learn that the Central Committee in Somerset County would appoint another "up the roader" to a commissioner post. That leaves the entire southern end of the county with one republican representative, Paul Ward. The Central Committee has really proved to be a disapointment to me and the voters in the southern end where if memory serves me correctly, where most of the votes are. Les Tyler, if you are reading this and are considering running for Sheriff next time, what are you thinking with? You know better that this.

  17. Well, "they" did it again. Picking a commissioner from the north east end of the county. No one cares and no one will try to do anything about it. Business as usual in Somerset.

  18. While you're down here (Princess Anne) looking around, you might want to spend some time investigating why my children only need look out any window of my home and watch drug deals go down and never a cop in sight. Never. Don't bother calling 9-11, it's done and over before they can leave the station house. My home may be valued (once) at 200k, but I may as well be living in drug alley. My children can't go out and play. What are the Princess Anne police doing? Spending time in their new 'command canter" ? I miss Chief P.

  19. Should we really be surprised at what is going on in our country, state, and county? Just think about it. Everyone from the president, senate, congress, govorner, county commissioners, prosecutors and city council are democrats. Until that changes, just expect more of the same. There is no checks and balances and accountability when one party is in total control.

  21. Wonder what kind of deal the SCSCC promised Mr Ballard this time?

    ReplyDelete
  22. I must agree with 11:16 there. Had to buy off Ken B. I'll bet he is fuming. What gets me is they appointed another good old boy. I was betting Ken Ballard was a shoe in. No chance at a fresh breath until 2010 elections.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Well, I guess they could make Ken Ballard the next Secretary of State. It seems that is what they would do in Washington D.C. with the runner up.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Wait a second, doesn't that guy East serve on the same committee that just appointed him? And from what I have learned, Ballard serves on it too. What is going on here?

  25. Cindy Stevens is from Marion. Last time I checked that was in the southern end of the county !

    ReplyDelete
  26. Well, it seems they all appoint each other to be the other to help the other out. What a circle. Does this happen anywhere eles?

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, I've been a democratat all my life. Time to switch parties. Of all the nerve.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Well, down there in Somerset, just what do you expect. It will be interesting what the gov will do. Well, I hope he will listen to someone else.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Yes, the Dems are a corrept bunch. We will have to wait and see what comes out of all this.

  30. Word has it on the street down here that Governor O'Malley has Sammy's cell phone number. Hand Pick your replacement/new boss? Priceless....

  31. The Dems have no shame.
