So they dermined it was by a cigerette? I am a smoker and do not throw them out the window. Until you know the cause dont speculate. BTW... cigarettes now are safer due to regulations... they go out very quick. Hell, have had some go out in my hand. Until there is proof, dont blame the smokers.
I saw the smoke (not really a fire) in the little triangle in the median at the turn (at the intersection of Tilghman Rd.). My immediate thought was a cigarette as well because of the way it was smoking. I turned to go to Bank of America and while I was in the drive thru the fire truck came. It didn't ever look like a brush fire, but it was definately the start of one. While I was waiting at that light, before I turned, I thought it was interesting that it was all ready smoking wildly and someone waiting to make a left at the light threw what looked like a cigarette out the window. Couldn't help but think how stupid that was since there was all ready a "fire".
The first time you toss a butt out and have it come back, unbeknownst to you, land in your backseat and burn a 5 inch diameter hole in the immaculate cloth seats in your new car,you will never do it again!
keep us updated!!!!!!!
