Breaking News On Ted Shea

Ted wasn't shot 5 times Ladies & Gentlemen. I know some reports even came out saying he was shot 3 times. Get this, the man was shot 8 TIMES!

Ted is doing well and his spirits are very good. Nevertheless, the man was shot a total of 8 times! At some time around 3:00 PM today they did surgery to remove 2 bullets from his left leg.

Here's what's interesting. Now you'll have to follow the math here because the numbers won't make sense but just follow me for a second.

There were 8 shots fired. One struck Ted in the right leg. Five bullets struck his left leg and three bullets struck his abdomen. I know, that's 9 bullets. However, one went through his abdomen and then struck one of his legs. If you're still confused, I can't help you.

The man was shot a total of 8 times. Two bullets were being removed today from his left leg. This is a very blessed man Folks.

  1. This is unbelieveable. When they find the
"hood" that did this, they should do the same
    thing to him.

  2. My prayers go out to Mr. Shea. And if I was him I would request a few minutes with this degenerate after I got out of the hospital.

  3. God bless you Ted... You are one hell of a man to live through that. You are in my prayers and I am fortunate to get to know you. I didn't always agree with your style, but you taught me alot.

  4. County Police Force, County Police Force, County Police Force!

The officers want it! The admin doesn't.

Wake up citizens and demand better. Resist the fact we have to much duplication of services and being taxed out the wahoo for it.

To many chiefs, and not enough indians.

No matter what anyone says, there is not enough communication between officers investigating crime! Therefore the citizens suffer and are the ultimate victims, and the thugs always wins the end.

  5. an all county police force is a very attractive concept. what is keeping it from happening?

  6. 10:44 There is a lot of planning, community forums, legislation and a voters' referendum before a county police force can be started. A lot of coordination and agreement with the jurisdictions that currently have their little police departments would need to be achieved. Old ways and habits are hard to break.

Here's a link to information on all the work that has gone into the discussion of a county police force in Carroll County:

  7. It does not matter how many police officers there is, if a gunman has the DROP on you, you will suffer. If Ted had a double barrel shotgun loaded with 00.buckshot pointed out the window of his van the dirtball would have had a deterrent pointed at his sorry a$$ and made him haul the other way. That is how you break this crap up.

  8. Anyone else see the chief on WBOC tonight? Now I see why you guys really don't like him. Something about the hard economic situation may be a motive? WHY IS HE MAKING EXCUSES FOR THE ROBBERS? Why hasn't someone tracked down someone with access to the tapes despite President's Day? When the report said the tapes haven't been retrieved because of the holiday I was shocked... A man was almost murdered and that's the best they can do?

  9. WBOC news at 10:00pm reported that crime is down. I feel much safer, think I'll go to the ATM now...

  10. Yesterday I passed three Salisbury police cruisers with radar guns giving out speeding tickets, rather than out there trying to find the BUM that did this to Ted. It seems the police need to focus in more on the CRIME sprees rather than pulling a senior citizen over for going 5 miles over the speed limit!
I work right down the street from the credit union and for sure I am afraid to even walk out of my office anymore! However, if I would call to be asked for a police escort out they would think I was off my rocker!

  11. Mr. Ted,
You are such a nice person and I know that God looked out for you. You were always so kind to me. My prayers continue for you.

  12. Please tell us, the citizens and residents of Wicomico county and the city of SBY, how we can feel safe again going about our regular routines....in the last few weeks its been deadly to stop for ice cream on the way home, to visit a friend, now you probably will get shot getting a few dollars from an ATM. Webster doesn't know what to do, or, if he does, isn't doing it. Mike Lewis seems to know. Why pay for the different layers of law enforcement IF IT'S NOT EFFECTIVE.
Something must be done quickly. Or anyone who CAN leave WILL leave, and leave this place a ghost town.

  13. I agree with the subject on radar traps.. 3 times last week and then yesterday on Emerson ave around the corner from our mares house ??? when all of this is going on

  14. If were to get a county police force than everyone would be complaining that they were all in Fruitland and Salisbury leaving the rest of the county unprotected.

Im glad Salisbury has been able to keep a few paramedics that were able to help Mr. Shea

  16. Mr. Shea I'm so sorry you got shot and I wish you well. To whoever shot him, I certainly hope you can live with yourself for doing such a despicable act. Sooner or later you are going to stumble and fall and when you do, I really don't feel sorry for you. You are not the only one suffering these tough times right now, but there is a right way and a wrong way to go about things, and you certainly chose the wrong way. We know you most likely intended to do more harm to Mr. Shea than you did, but you have to remember there is a higher authority in control and when you have to answer to this higher authority all I can say is shame on you. It may just get a little hot for you.

  17. SPd will not find this guy. They are TOO BUSY to handle cases. At least that's what they will tell you if you are a victim. I guarantee this case will be solved by a tip or by WBI. SPD investigators SUCK!!

  18. Anonymous 11:33 is none other than John Robinson. ALL Salisbury Police Officers should know this as he'll stab any Police Officer in the back every chance he gets. Watch your back brothers.

  19. and much credit is due to SFD...good job guys....also spd....oh wait they didn't get the guy they were to busy sitting at thrift hangin out talking

  20. Maybe John R. was in the area showing his gun to a little girl and it just went off. Eight times. This case sucks no way to white wash it. The city has turned into a portrait of Urben Decay. Thanks to a Mayor I just can not figure out. A Chief who spent way to much time in Internal Affairs. It makes perfect sense he spent his career chasing cops instead of the street thugs. It is all he knows. Shame a great lesson learned here. Hire someone that has Cop crediabilty All the degrees and and shiny schools dont mean a hill of beans if you can not lead your troops into battle.

  21. it's sad that the big city had to come to the eastern shore. I know alot of people that wanted the big city and now you have it. Organized crime and random acts of violence. Blame it on the economy blame it on admin. But why blame this poor man for going to the ATM at night. When does the people shooting the gun get some accountability?
