Updates From This Week's News

We reported a serious accident in Berlin this week and I came to learn of some new details I thought you might find interesting. The young men in the Navy that were speeding on Rt. 50 more than likely didn't know they had raced through a Radar Trap doing 108 miles per hour.

By the time the Berlin Police could start a pursuit these guys were well past them and probably didn't even know they were being chased when they crashed into the suburban at the High School.

On New Years Eve there were many problems in the City of Salisbury. I was told they had to close down Brew River because of fights.

I was also told that there was another major fight in or near Flavors of Italy as well. Funny, I didn't see any of this information put out elsewhere?

  1. The Daily Times is right on top of these stories. Check next weeks editions.

  2. Maybe because a fight is not so newsworthy to anyone but you.

  3. Anything that affects the tax paying public is news worthy.

  4. So you have not posted anything on the accident right in your own town of Delmar....which by the way, the man who was hit and pulled from a burning car has now passed away.

    Maybe you just didn't know about it.

    A van was flying up Rt. 54 trying to get throught the green light at Rt. 13 and struck this man broadside.

    Not a word on that one from anyone.

    People driving up Line Rd. (Rt. 54) need to slow the hell down...you have Stage Rd. which crosses and the exit from the shopping center there now...there's no sense in coming through there so damn fast.

    DelDot should have never allowed that access to the shopping center off of Rt. 54.

    I am sure this will not be the last fatality in that section.

  5. How does a fight at Brew River affect the tax paying public? I affects Brew River and whoever got in the fight but how does it affect me as a taxpayer?

  7. Brew River is loosing business because they continue to allow thugs in their bar. If they don't they will "racist" despite the safety concerns. If Brew River looses money, than the less tax they will pay to Salisbury.

    Crime=less paid taxes
