Tragically, I believe Buckwheat's political career was cut short when he was assassinated in 1983 when he left 30 Rock after a Saturday Night Live Appearance. I believe his last words were "I nub' nu...I nub' nu." Legend has it if you Google the topic, cameras may have actually caught the whole scene.....
Buckwheat(real name,William Thomas) died of a heart attack in Los Angles at age 49 after a successful career as a film lab technician. Take your racist comments somewhere else, Reese Bobby.
Dinosaur, Reese was quoting a scene from SNL of which Eddie Murphy was portraying Buckwheat. It was a very funny skit. There is that dang old race card again. geez.
Anybody who reads these pages knows I am probably among the most tolerant people here. Google it yourself...coincidentally, Einstein, the person actually satiring the ill-fated Mr. Wheat happened to be quite a popular african-american comedian-you can also catch his legendary work poking fun during "Celebrity Hot Tub With James Brown."(AOL video has the entire video from SNL). If you don't think it is funny- there is something very wrong with YOU! And I can live with that....
No problem, dude..If you really want to feel dirty after reading a lot of TRULY ignorant/hateful comments, though...catch some of the works of "wisdom" over on the "Pittsvillians revolt over having to don nice clothes at school" thread. I had to watch "Celebrity Hot Tub" 3 times to ease the horror of that trainwreck of a debate.
Petey is the only qualified one of the bunch.
