In the opening days of the new session of Congress and Obama Administration, Harry Reid has shown that he's not going to change; he's going to continue playing the same old games.
Harry Reid's trying to short-circuit the election process in Minnesota and seat Al Franken in a seat he didn't win and hasn't won. Harry Reid and Al Franken want to declare the post-election legal proceedings in Minnesota over and done, and that's not going to happen- with your help.
And why would they want to do such a thing to the people of Minnesota? It's simple really. Harry Reid and Al Franken know what the Coleman campaign knows: if you count all the valid ballots in Minnesota, Al Franken will lose.
It's so clear, in fact, that Al Franken believes he can't win in a court of law, that's why in the last 2 weeks he's asked the Minnesota Governor, the Democrat Secretary of State, and the Minnesota Supreme Court to seat him immediately - to no avail.
Now Al has called on his friend Harry Reid. They are not content to let the recount process, as prescribed by Minnesota law, play out fairly and squarely. They want to cut off the process before it gets to court.
And Harry Reid seems to think he can make the rules up as he goes along--and change them at will. Even though he tried to refuse to seat Roland Burris because he didn't have an election certificate, Reid has decided that Al Franken is above Minnesota law and doesn't need one.
I've been a friend of Norm's for a long time, and I can tell you that he's not going to rest until every valid vote is counted fairly and honestly. Harry Reid is pushing to seat Franken immediately because he knows that when this contest is over, Norm Coleman will be ahead, just as he was on Election Night.
Norm needs your help today. He will win this election contest but he can't do it alone. Click here immediately to make a donation of $10, $25, $100 or as much as you can up to $12,300 to help Norm continue to fight for the rights of all Minnesota voters to have their votes counted fairly.
Sincerely,
Rudy Giuliani
PS - If you care about honest, free and fair elections - and want to tell Harry Reid that you won't stand for his attempt to trample on the rights of Minnesota voters - click here to make a contribution and support Norm Coleman.
I recommend the video Ameria:Freedom to Facism. It details how the federal reserve and the IRS have tricked Americans into voluntarily paying income tax. The US Constitution clearly states that taxes must be either apportioned or unapportioned. All taxes which are unapportioned must be avoidable! Any apportioned tax must be TOTALLY EQUAL TO ALL CITIZENS. Everyone pays the same exact amount of money!
HUH? And this guy is Senate Majority Leader. WOW. No wonder the senate has a lower approval rating than former Pres. Bush. Oh but then again that is promoted like Bush's rating. Is it time to vote again? Can't get here soon enough. Rick P.
I agree... it's time to get rid of the IRS and put the "Fair Tax Act" through... but of course then most accountants would be out of a job... we can't have that happen now can we... grr...
The "Fair Tax Act" sounds good to me.
