From The Scene
Another friend of Salisbury News, Malaki Greer provided these photos as well from the scene of three suspected burglars in a high speed chase on Rt. 13. Salisbury News, Delmarva's News Leader.
I've been informed there were a total of 5 suspects. The individual in the red jacket was apprehended after a K-9 search located the individual. The 5th suspect was caught at the scene of the burglary where the other 4 fled.
This is awesome work by several Police Departments. From what I have gathered you had the Maryland State Police, Wicomico County Sheriff's Department, Delmar Police and Salisbury Police on the scene. ALL suspects captured, no one hurt. Unbelievable!
Again, thank you Wayne Barrall and Malaki Greer for their great photography!
WHY IS SPD THERE? It happened in Delmar!
ReplyDeletewho cares why anonymous 3:36?
ReplyDeleteit's a team effort and it worked...
Five criminals burglarizing homes in a Honda. How stupid. Where were they going to put the loot? Seriously, too much of this happening now, is it the economy, or is the moral bankruptcy becoming more apparent locally. Good job good guys, SBY News, and everybody else who isn't robbing and stealing from hard working people who are still morally just. a.p.
ReplyDeleteFYI note the left shoulder of the cop in the first pic. DSP.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 3:36 if you knew anything about police work you would know if an agency asks for assistance other police agencies are allowed to come in and assist. Last I checked Delmar is right next to Salisbury!
ReplyDeleteK-9 Officer Jones is a hottie...

ReplyDeleteGet your shit together. It's Delmar not Salisbury, not their jurisdiction! SPD should of never passed the barracks since SBY ends there, then had the nerve to cross into DE. It should of been DPD, WCSO, MSP and DSP.
Anon 5:13 If WCSO responded to this call with many officers as they have then on top of DPD and MSP why would the ask for SPD?
ReplyDeleteI agree 4:02 PM, who cares why SPD was there. Great work by all agencies involved.
ReplyDeleteJoe don't forget to mention Delware State Troopers. I didn't see Delmar PD in the pics, but that doesn't mean they weren't involved.
Great work Joe, this is the kind of exciting news with pictures that many of us like to see.
Oh yeah, don't forget to give a plug to Richard Adkins from Adkins
Towing, he reads your blog religiously and very dependable if you need his services. Just don't step in the HazMat wastes when he spits from that 5lbs of chew in his mouth, LOL.
To all of the idiots out there with nothing else to do except make comments on stories that they have no clue about. Salisbury Police Department was called by the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office because the black female was wanted out of the Salisbury Police Department. And seeing as though it is cheaper to drive to Delmar to pick up the subect instead of flying the subject from Delmar to Salisbury, that will hopefully explain why SPD was on location. Now, does everyone understand or do I need to have my 7 year old daughter draw it out in crayon? By the way... Happy New Year All!!

I hope this isn't a dude.... LMAO
Nice job, what a great way 2 start new year. To the criminals, I hope you enjoy being behind bars taking away things that don't belong to you. You should have learned that at grade school.

what is up your butt? like i said who cares they all helped and it worked, it was a team effort.
So WCSO couldn't just release her to the jail? Remember they are right next door.
ReplyDelete5:55 wouldnt she have to be processed by the sherriffs dept on these crimes first, then sent to you so she be processed for what you have to do? Just a thought.
ReplyDeleteWho really cares about what department. These five hoodlums needed to be apprehended and they were caught. If it was your house burglarized, would you care who caught them? As long as they were caught is more important. I can believe some of the responses on this topic. All five should be locked up, and toss the key away!
ReplyDeleteYou people absolutely amaze me. One minute you bitch because SPD doesn't meet your expectations now you bitch because they work in unison with other agencies in capturing criminals. You sound like a bunch of spoiled brats that are never satisfied. If you don't like how it was handled, call Chief Webster and bitch at him for sending his men out to assist. You have the balls to piss and moan on a blog anonymously I'll bet you a dollar to a donut you don't have the balls to make that call. The number to call is 410-548-3165 I'm sure the officer answering will be more than happy to transfer your call to the 3rd floor.
ReplyDeleteI wasnt bitching, I was simply wonering why a Salisbury cop would be in Delaware, kinda wierd. I didnt know that was possible. These photos seem to me that you had one or two bad eggs and the other KIDS followed. I dont know, they look like kids to me. As far as talking to Chief Webster Im in the right place, trust me on that. Granted he doesnt sign his name, when he shows up you know.
ReplyDeleteIf you are not one then dont comment like one. Great Job by all five shit bags off the streets. They are without a doubt suspects in many crimes I guarantee they are good for a whole lot of crap around the area. When a group of criminals like these are caught it makes life better for the area citizens and the local L/E. The system needs to work now and put them away. It was a wonderful sight seeing all the cops working as a team. Joe great work. I say hammer em all we need more arrest just like this to stem the flow of dung in this county. I bet one them will squeal like pig on the rest. i bet I know which one will talk. Hmmmmmmmm
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame to see the five young people go so wrong. It's an even bigger shame that tax payers will now have to support these pieces of shit. The police should have shot them on the spot!
ReplyDeleteGreat work done obviously by the following pictured police officers:
ReplyDeleteSgt Carrey ,WCSD
Dfc. Parsons , WCSD
Dfc. Avnet , WCSD
Dfc. Jones , WCSD
Pfc. Mcmenamy , Spd
Tfc. Hagel , Msp
and the Dsp troopers who I did not recognize question is where was the Delmar PD. in thier neck of the woods and nobody present what are we paying them for coffee and dounuts...Thanks to all who did chase and put thier life on the line for Delmar residents safety
As long as these felons are caught, I don't care if the Texas Rangers and Spiderman are called in to help!
ReplyDeleteDelmar huh. I hope this means that the SA from wico wont have to let them go free ? May be they will get whats coming to them if De. has the case.
