  5. To all those pledging their support to Debbie, go to her website and contribute money and offer time. Even people like me outside the city can help both ways.

    Campaigns take money and work.

  6. Maybe Mr. Boda will decided to put on the brakes until the election 2 years from now, when he can replace Comegys or Louise Smith! Until then Mr. Boda should become involved in a broad range of City matters -- there will be plenty to keep him busy, that's for sure.

Let's re-elect Ms. Campbell by acclamation!

  7. It's time for a triple-play:

    1. Bob Caldwell -- Mayor
    2. Tim Chaney -- 1st District
    3. Debbie Campbell -- 2nd District

    LET'S DO IT!

  9. Please Mr. Boda:

Revise you plan and wait until 2 years from now, so that we can go full bore at keeping Comegys out of the mayor's office and replacing Shanie Shields.

    Thank you,

    The Dirty Dozen

When we win the trifecta, the Chiefy won't have to be canned because he will bail out ASAP.

  12. Campbell's web site is refreshing. I especially like that she asks what visitors to the site think about various issues.

  13. Sorry, but I'm not anxious for Mr. Boda to come back in 2 years either from what I'm hearing.

Let me rephrase that for you.

    It's time for a triple-play:

    1. JIM IRETON -- Mayor
    2. Tim Chaney -- 1st District
    3. Debbie Campbell -- 2nd District

    LET'S DO IT!

Bob, do us all a favor and do the right thing. Jim is the right person for Mayor. You waited to long to make a decision and many of you supporters have endorsed Jim Ireton. Please wait till the next election so that we don't have to worry about you two splitting votes and giving the election to Comegys.

  20. I'm not worried about the Ireton / Caldwell split. With only three candidates running for Mayor, one of them _will_ make it through the primary. Whichever one makes it through, I'm throwing my support behind. They're both great men and both would make great mayors. I hope all the Ireton and Caldwell supporters feel the same. If not, just go with the motto, "anyone but Comegys."

You obviously don't know strategy and politics! That is what's wrong with the democratic system these days. It's all about ego's and personal agendas and the citizens settling for the status quo.

    ReplyDelete
  22. 11:37, how is "anyone but Comegys" settling for the status quo? Comegys _is_ the status quo and we want anything but that.

  23. Debbie Campbell has my vote, along with Ireton and Chaney.
    Also, she's still hottt!

  24. I think Chief Webster would be happy working in the Delmar police dept.where there is not as much pressure. He could work part time at the Albero ranch rounding up horses, etc.Joe would have a sidekick then.
