Former Minnesota Vikings Football Player Carl Eller was convicted of an assault on a Police Officer on Monday. The 67-year-old was convicted of two misdemeanors that came from a clash with Minneapolis Police Officers back in April.
Eller was pulled over for a suspect drunk driving and he assaulted and threatened Police Officers.
He was/is very respected at UMES. He daughter was a standout athlete while attending the local university.
ReplyDeleteI believe you are mistaken Anonymous 8:53. Carl Eller did not attend UMES (or Maryland State), I believe he attended University of Minnesota. You may be thinking of Carl Hairston who attended Maryland State (now UMES) and was a football standout.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 8:53...Let me guess, you didn't finish high school?
