Anne Taylor Presents The New Parker Place
With ALL of the Oriental Rugs now gone, Anne Taylor has spiced up her place of business on the Downtown Plaza and is ready to do business. One of the cool parts about what Anne does down there is offer a variety of new fashions from old material. You'd have to visit Parker Place to completely understand what I'm saying but she travels all over the Eastern Shore doing shows and getting a really good feel for what's new out there and what people really like. Anne mentioned new and extended hours to me but she hasn't set it in stone as of yet. Perhaps she'll get on here under comments and bring everyone up to speed. Anyhow, it's 2009 and we need to help with one and other in local business and network to survive. Support your local business people Ladies & Gentlemen. Stop in, say hello, look around and tell Anne you're a "Joey." LOL
Parker Place has some of the most beautiful plants in the spring. I am sure the inside will be just as interesting. Best Wishes!
ReplyDeleteAnn is a local hero. Congratulations for continuing on in a new spirit, the entire City should follow.
ReplyDeleteIs that outdoor junk yard still there?
ReplyDeleteIt's safer than Feldman's because there's no roof to fall down.
Anne your window dressings are beautiful. I miss the stores that used to take such pride in their windows. Benedicts is another place that has beautiful window dressing.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Anon 8:25 her plants are beautiful, it's where I get my annuals in the spring.
Good luck, Anne.
Anne is a true Salisbury hero! She sponsors and donates space for all sorts of things, and is always willing to take a shot on a new idea. She gets involved in every downtown festival, project, and group, and deserves support and recognition.
ReplyDeleteWe have bought furniture and accessories from her, as well as plants, and love everything we've ever gotten from her.
I appreciate that Joe posted this, and suggest he seek out more local heros who do their part just by doing what they do everyday.
Hooray for Anne - I'll be in to take a look!
anyone that says different is a liar.
