Please Help Sally
Meet Sally Shipley. She is a mother of 3 children and 1 stepson. She lives in Berlin and works 3 different jobs to help make ends meet with her husband, Mark. She is my best friend.
Her life was turned upside-down late June when she had a major seizure. After many tests in local hospitals, she was told she had 2 "lesions" on her brain that needed to be tested. She was then rushed to Johns Hopkins where she was told that the lesions needed to removed ASAP and tested. Sally had successful her surgery on July 3rd. The test results from her surgery confirmed she has stage IV Glioblastomas multiforme cancer. The type of cancer she has in NOT curable. She is in the middle of daily radiation and chemo, along with many other drugs and anti-seizure medications.
The benefit will be held at Oasis Bar & Grill in Whaleyville on Rt. 346 (Old Ocean City Rd). I will post more information soon.

HELP! Stolen Vehicle
My Silver 2000 Lincoln Navigator was stolen from my driveway at approximately 10 pm last night. It has Maryland tags 429M371. There was a Delaware temp tag in the back of the vehicle that belongs to a boat trailer that could possibly be used. There was a hit and run last night involving a light colored Navigator after leaving the Royal Farms store on Main St. Any information on this please call me ANYTIME at 443-783-0877. There is a slight scuff on the corner of the right rear bumper. The front tag also has a slight bend through the middle of it.
Thank you,

Rock Band Staind’s New Release, The Illusion Of Progress, Debuts #3 On Billboard 200
Staind will Perform at the WY&CC on November 19
(Salisbury, MD) Talk about detonating on impact. The Illusion of Progress, the new album from Flip/Atlantic recording artists Staind, rocketed onto the Billboard 200 this week at #3, making it the fourth consecutive album of the band’s career to debut in the top 3.
News of the album’s explosive arrival follows a flurry of headline-making moves for the multi-platinum band, who recently teamed with online retailer Amazon.com for an innovative pre-release promotion, and have been on a worldwide summer tour, to be followed by a run in Europe with Nickelback in September, and headlining dates with special guests Seether and Papa Roach including a date at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center in Salisbury, MD on November 19.
About The Illusion of Progress, the Boston Globe wrote, “…the music packs as much punch as ever—and more variety, as Staind sometimes departs from its rock-metal power ballads for tunes that suggest Pink Floyd and even Brit band Oasis.” The Hartford Courant praised the band for “pushing its musical boundaries outward,” and USA Today hailed the quartet for serving up a “nicely crafted ballad or two” and “a few engaging surprises, including the sparse, acoustic “Tangled Up In You,” politically charged “Rainy Day Parade” and “The Corner,” with a gospel choir and a bluesy grandeur worthy of Pink Floyd.”
Over the course of the past decade, Staind has sold more than 12 million records worldwide. They’ve had four #1 singles that span three different radio formats, including two massive crossover singles “It’s Been Awhile” and “Right Here.” “It’s Been Awhile” spent 16 weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Modern Rock chart, making it the #1 most played rock record of 2002.

Frank Kratovil - Who Will Pay?
Last night, a few hours before Sen. John McCain told us why we should STAND UP and FIGHT for AMERICA, Frank Kratovil - the man who wants to be our Congressman - told a group in Salisbury that he wants the government to have ultimate control over health care in the United States. The timing was ironic, to say the least.
Health care spending in this country amounts to almost 20% of our economy. The federal government can't get you through an airport efficiently, yet Kratovil wants it to manage your health care.
Kratovil, trying to be all things to all people, preached an incremental socialism. He wants to start off with a requirement to make you buy health insurance. He admits this isn't because it's the best solution. No, Kratovil wants socialized medicine. This is how we get their. Read More ...

Solutions
Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in this country
lately: illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking
people in Florida .
Not me. I concentrate on solutions for the problems. It's a win-win
situation.
+ Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
+ Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levies.
+ Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border.
Any other problems you would like for me to solve today ? Yes!
Think about this one:
1. Cows
2. The Constitution
3. The Ten Commandments
C O W S
Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad
cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada
almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state
of Washington? And, they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they
are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around our
country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.
T H E C O N S T I T U T I O N
They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq .... Why
don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart
guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.
T H E 1 0 C O M M A N D M E N T S
The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a
courthouse is this:
You cannot post 'Thou Shalt Not Steal,' 'Thou Shalt Not Commit
Adultery,' and 'Thou Shall Not Lie' in a building full of lawyers,
judges and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.
It is Time for America to Speak up !
