Muir Boda's Campaign Website

"Joe,

I hope this Christmas season is finding you well and I know you have the true Spirit of the Season by your service with Salvation Army alone. You are doing such a great job with that and I just want to say thanks.

I wanted to send you a quick e-mail about my Campaign Website at http://www.boda4salisbury.com/ . I have had one up for a while, I have just redone it and made it a little cleaner. Let me know what you think and I wish you the best this Christmas.

By the way George Taylor had a great idea today - Broadcast the work sessions live.... that would be great idea. I wonder how much time would be spent arguing about going into closed session.

Thanks.

Muir Boda"

  1. WHo is this Boda guy--never seen him at any meetings and he doesn't even know the players: it's not GEORGE Taylor.

Where has Boda been on the issues?

  3. has anyone (esp you joe, and jim ireton) noticed that if you visit muir's site, and then try to follow one of his favorite links out to the web (your site, and jim's site) that you REALLY never leave muir's site, and you are taken inside an iframe to your site, so basically he's putting a wrapper around sbynews.com and calling it his? bad web development. bad bad bad.

  4. not to mention here is a script that will help your site, and any other sites "bust out" of frames. which is what he has you in.

also, this isnt something you can do by MISTAKE. this is purposefully done.

  5. Unless they change the work session time from 4:30 to 6:30 so citizens can attend, I don't get off in time to even watch it on PAC-14.

That would be enough argument for an entire work session and it would wind up staying 4:30 because the same majority would vote to make it hard for citizens to attend.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas Mr. Bota

  6. well done joe, your frame busting has worked, and if you go to his site now, and click on your link, it takes you to YOUR site, however, you can still see that jim's site link doesnt do that, and it stays in the top title bar "boda4salisbury" what a schmutz

Sir, this isn't a new idea and "George Taylor" wasn't the first to come up with it. This idea has been floating around for many years now for both the city council and the county council to adopt. There are several reasons, cost and transparency. Some players don't want you the public to see what is going on during the open work sessions which is wrong.

If you want to be a credible candidate then you need to get with the program. You obviously have know clue about the city of Salisbury or politics, but I admire your desire to step up to the plate. Thank you.

Although you wouldn't be able to watch it live you would be able to see it when it is rebroadcast at later dates and times just like the council meetings.
