An Interesting Arrest This Past Week

The Maryland State Police received a 911 call from an individual complaining someone had allegedly thrown beer bottles at his vehicle, (or something along those lines). He then stated they were allegedly following him and the State Police were able to stop the vehicle. The driver who called the whole thing in was asked to identify the people causing trouble and he did just that.

HOWEVER, it turns out, the guy who made the original complaint from the 911 call was questioned by the Dispatcher feeling as if this person was intoxicated. Aaron Scott Osterwalder, (the 911 caller) was also given a sobriety test and was immediately arrested for a DUI as well. Officers could smell the alcohol and I believe he is the son of Patti Thompson? Mr. Thompson is retired from the SFD.

  1. Joe, this is exactly why poeple say your blog site is nothing but a rumor monger mill. A guy gets arrested for drunk driving, he is guilty. Why are you bringing up or even referencing his parents? Just because they "apparently" may not like someone you like?

  2. This guy has always been in trouble. He has totaled Mercedes, smoked pot, been in fights and has always been bailed out by the parents. I have never heard the step father speak bedly about the Sheriff, but anything is possible. If so, it is probably because they have had to deal with the kid so many times. The parents must think they're picking on him.
The fact that the stepfather is retired SFD has nothing to do with the rest of its members. There are some good people in their ranks. I dont care for their leaders(Gordy & See)but there are some good ones there. The stepfather retired within months of the new regime taking over. He didn't care for the new "VISION" and had seen enough of See's cutthroat ways. He remembered when See hated Salisbury and wouldn't do anything for years. The stepfather was a good fireman and did earn a paycheck for years. He was outspoken, but what he said was right. To this day he hates See's guts and wouldn't spit on him if he caught fire.
I can only hope the kid will wake up and get his act together. Drinking and driving dont mix. His stepfather knows all to well from his years in the SFD.

  3. Joe, 8:03 is correct about referring to the parents of someone getting arrested. I believe you, yourself, has said, " Leave my family alone". It is not there fault. Just my opinion.

  4. One of the parents have been trying to smear a local public figure with false claims and have been writing me regularly in the hopes I would put up the information they had sent me time and time again. That's what made this such an interesting arrest. No one has bashed the parents.

Thank You for not chosing to be an Albero follower! I know Josh and Patty, they will show you proof of a Wicomico Deputy Sheriff assaulting their son. I have seen the video tape of it and I can assure you it is true.

  7. See, there you go again Patti, trying to bash the WCSO. This video was reviewed by several key people and it was confirmed that the person under arrest was out of line and you're simply pissed off that you couldn't convince anyone other wise. Here's an even more interesting part. IF this were true, why didn't your Son sue Wicomico County? End of story.

  8. This is certainly nothing new for this kid. I personally know him and he is nothing but trouble. This is probably the least of things he has done. And I also know first hand that his mom will "cover" for him or go "save" him. They need to stop doing that and let him face the consequences of his actions or he will never learn!! He will go around bragging about how he has wrecked cars, gotten DUIs, and been in fights. I remember when he wrecked a Mercedes when he was like 16 or 17, and he laughed about it!! I can't comment on his behavior over the past year, but I can tell you from past experiences that he is a drunk!!

  9. I checked the records. He's a good boy. CDS possession, intent to distribute, paraphanalia, littering, negligent driving and another DUI. Yeah, he's innocent. It was all a setup I'm sure.

  12. 11:00, you are a liar at best. The mother sent you a video about 6 months ago and you would not post it. WHY? What does it show? You didn't want everyone to see it.

  13. There was a wcso transport guy arrested for dui like 2 months ago by a spd officer. You hear that?

  14. No one will take this Brat serious until his kills someone while under the inflence of alcohol or drugs. Maybe we'll be lucky or god forbid it is one of his own family members.

  15. Patty, great parenting skills you have with that boy. One day will come when you can't get him out of what he's done. Who will be at fault, both of you. Why you? Because you haven't taught him right from wrong. This is when I'm thankful for having the parents I am blessed to have. Yes, I got grounded over coming home late. Back then having the phone or car keys taken away for 2 weeks was terrible for a teen. Now that I'm in my 40's my parents are proud of the adult I've become. They have never had to cover up anything for me or any of my sibblings.

Whats going to happen when he kills an innocent person due to being drunk? The pain for the victim's family never goes away.

Keep up the good work Joe!

Did you ask Davis Ruark what he would do if he killed someone? This is a grown man, both are wrong however most of us would be under the jail for things we did when we were younger. Also back then the parents were able to beat their childrens ass for things like this, so don't blame these kids and don't blame their parents. Blame Social Services.

  17. 8:06,
You want to talk to me about Patty's parenting skills? Allow us to know who you are and I will deliver them to you. She has been a very good mother. I have witnessed this for 22 years. It is obvious that you haven't. Aaron has done some things he shouldn't have. I will agree with that. What kid hasn't? Do you think she tells him to do these things you idiot? I hope your kids grow up and choose to rock the boat and I find out about it!

  18. If you see the video then there is should be doubt in your mind that this officer was being irrational. Period who cares what trouble the kid has been in!! The officer was wrong if it was my son i would be livid if someone put there hands on my kid. Dont bash someone's parenting skills because your trying to take the focus off the bigger picture!! And that is ... Abuse from the Sherriff's Dept
