Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Press Release
Incident: Possession of Crack Cocaine
Date of Incident: 12 November 2008
Location: 500 Block of Bailey Lane, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Brandon Lee Conaway, 22, Salisbury, MD
Narrative: On 12 November 2008 the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with Parole and Probation agents to conduct unannounced home visits of probationers living in Wicomico County. At 1220 PM, a Sheriff’s Deputy and a Parole and Probation agent stopped at a residence in the 500 block of Bailey Lane in Salisbury to check on Brandon Lee Conaway. Upon pulling in the driveway, the deputy and agent observed Conaway standing in the rear of the yard talking to another subject. When Conaway saw them, they observed that Conaway discarded a baggie. The deputy and agent approached Conaway, recovered that baggie, and discovered it contained what they recognized as crack cocaine.
The Wicomico County Narcotics Task Force arrived and executed a search and seizure warrant for the residence where Conaway was located. During the search, additional crack cocaine along with marijuana and digital scales were located.
Conaway was transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Conaway was detained in the Detention Center by the Commissioner in lieu of $75,000.00 bond.
Charges:

Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
