County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr., announced that the last in a series of public workshops on Phase 1, the Water Resources Element, of the county’s new Comprehensive Plan is scheduled for Monday, November 17, 2008, from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. in Flanders Rooms 2,3 & 4 in the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
Mr. Pollitt said that the purpose of the workshop is to receive public input about the preliminary draft of the Water Resources Element. The draft outlines a plan that ensures future development in Wicomico County is done with consideration for the opportunities and limitations of local water resources.
The public is welcome.
