Obama Vandalism

Joe:

These are pictures of my wonderful car after the Election last night (I got home at 12). I am an Obama supporter and I am glad that he won last night but this has gone way to far. Yes, this is spray paint. Hopefully it will come off. These people need to be caught somehow and pay the punishment.

I do not blame Obama or most of his supporters but these radical actions need to stop. Obama is here to stay for at least four years now. Accept it and move on.

Michael G

P.S. Great job with the blogging.

  2. I am trying to be bi-partisan in all respects to honor my country today; I originally noted that date as well-but like to call as I see it. I encourage people to expand their perception here (and I am not an Obama kindred spirit) but I want to look at the leaf colors in the yard/leaf dropping in the background. As a camper/outdoorsman, those leaves look like autumn leaves finally falling this week (there appear to be fallen leaves in the driveway next to the vehicle-not the overwhelming green you would see in Springtime). I will look again before I submit; but if this is true it is the OTHER wing of the lunatic fringes that have seized our country and is absolutely unforgivable as well. If done by an Obama supporter-they asked for the bar to be raised on their behalf-and it has now happened; they are now further disgraced by such destruction (if true).....This play is still under review.

  3. anon 3:36 - c'mon dude, don't you know that these cameras sometimes use the Jpanese/European convention for dates? Day/Month/Year...01/11/2008 dUH! I know it's the Eastern Shore here, but get a brain or common sense or something - it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that, now does it?

  4. Why worry you be popular in the minority neighborhoods this little bit of paint with his name on your car will guarantee your car from future damage in minority areas!

  5. Could also be a McBush supporter lashing out and making it look like an Obama supporter??

  6. 05/11/2008 = NOVEMBER 5, 2008 in the international convention...! C'mon folks, that is sooo obvious and you guys just don't think before you post!

  7. Michael G, try to get it off NOW before it cures any more. Try mineral spirits first. If that doesn't do it, try to do it real quick with acetone...have to be real quick, though, because the acetone can take off the car paint, too.

Sorry for this bad experience for you. Thank you for not blaming Obama. There are a$$holes everywhere who will take ANY opportunity to do stuff like this. In our case, no reason, no Obama, no election...just felt like marring our vehicle.

Last night, a friend of mine was at an election party where a woman told a story about a female McCain supporter cursed her (an Obama supporter) and the kid in the McCain supporter's arms spit on the lady Obama supporter!!!

Do I blame McCain? No. But this is how stupidly out of hand people of all colors and walks of life get. Sickens me that the mother was teaching her kid that kind of hate.

Anyway, good luck with your car, fella. Hope everybody will take a chill pill and do what McCain asked. He really gave a great concession speech last night. I hope that spirit will go beyond the one night.

  10. Our daughter who lives in the city of Salisbury had her van spray painted, and my husband used gasoline to take it off. Good luck, even if you did vote for Obama, nobody deserves that.

  11. Where did this happen? There has been alot of vadalism on the east side of Wicomico county.

Also, it's a shame when people take things too far and actually damage property or assult someone. It's great that we are free to disagree and have a contest like the election. But after the contest is over, it's time to get back to working on our future, no matter who wins or loses.

Please good people, watch out for this type of behavior. Take pictures, report it to the police, let us know so we can blog it, but more importantly, don't stoop to the level of the idiots who have done this.

  13. Really...in all fairness-maybe I'm the sucker here...but you guys do notice the fallen/orange-yellow leaves in the background, correct? Either this is:

    A) A true story. This is where we start as Americans believe it or not.

    B) The best computer animated thing I've seen since someone pasted Lee Harvey's face on the grassy knoll shooter's body (to take away from his marksmenship within that there book suppository building).

    C) This person defaced his/her own vehicle like the psycho chick (Quest Que C'Est) who branded herself with a "B" (this is not easily ruled out these days-who says this car is not a lemon being used as a political statement....the psycho chik carved her own face-no piece of dung sedan is safe from this dysfunction.

    D) The end result of someone pissing off their own neighbors in such a fashion to endure ultimate retaliation once the polls closed in this disgusting way-We all know this wasn't "random." It is also not acceptable (if confirmed by police report-we all know most of this audience would file such a police report).

There is a lot going on in the state/nation today that is infinitely more important, but someone tell me what is really up here. Credibility and accountability is at stake here.

  15. hi dumbasses, the date is just in european format-day, month then year. Vandalism is vandalism and I hope these people are caught and sadly this is probably just the tip of the iceberg of what obamafanatics will be up to.

  18. It's my car. I can assure you I did not do this. I'm poor enough as it is. I wouldn't waste money vandalizing my car.

On a side note, I don't know the first thing about photoshop, and although the date could be in the European format, more than likely it is just incorrect and randomly that date in my camera. I never use it.

    I live in Kilburnie

  19. There was similar vandalism in Sharptown last night as well, only the side of a home was the target. It seems like some dumb kids who haven't been properly raised by their parents are out and about. To Michael, you weren't the only one. To the idiots accusing him of defacing his own car, really, now stupid can you be?

  20. Michael G,
Don't sweat the small stuff man, your gunna have alot more to worry about when Obama actually gets into office. Man you think you have problems now, just f'in wait! But hey, apparently you can get free gas and mortgage payments from Obama!!! I heard all you have to do is work with him and he'll work with you. So let him know i'm sure he'll reimburse you the damages.

By the way, i hope it didnt wash off.

  21. Jesus H. Christ. I just learned that Sarah Palin didn't know Africa is a continent.

With all due respect to my Republican friends, I am sooooooo glad the McCain/Palin ticket did not win. I would be beside myself if McCain died in office and we were left with that ditz.

I lock arms with my Republican friends in a spirit to recover our country. It's great, but the last 8 years have tarnished so much, both in our daily lives and in our ideals.

As my friend Russell, a staunch conservative Republican who voted for Obama said, it is time for America to move away from those who call the Constitution a g-ddamn piece of paper and to move WITH those who cherish it. Obama dedicated his study of law to the Constitution and has passed that commitment on as a professor of Constitutional law.

Sir, I'm sorry for the vandalism you experienced. There are idiots everywhere, and I wouldn't be surprised if these particular idiots didn't even vote.

  22. Dislike either candidate as you will, but grow up and stop with the name calling. This is why elections get screwed up. We have people with the maturity level of a 4 year old. Just like a child who gets a toy taken away, you throw a fit and cry and whine. My pick lost so I hope bad stuff happens to people who voted against my guy. Come on. I am sorry for the vandalism to your car. I hope whoever did it gets caught and pays for their actions.

  23. 11:02PM It is time for America to move away from those who call the Constitution a g-ddamn piece of paper and to move WITH those who cherish it. Obama

You really think a man who DOES NOT RESPECT THE FLAG and IS NOT A CHRISTIAN will cherish the Constitution????? This Country was founded under Honorable Christian Men!

  24. Many are quick to assume this was done by an Obama supporter. The mentality shown by many who post here shows that they might just be the type to "punish" a known Obama supporter with vandalism of their car. I can hear them now: "You like Obama so much, then see how you like this!" The fact that others might blame Obama supporters is just icing on their demented cake. We have no way of knowing which "camp" is responsible - we can only acknowledge it is reprehensible behavior by an ignorant individual.

  25. "I do not blame Obama or most of his supporters"...so what's your point?

  26. Dear 11:01:

I wish you could grow up and be less childish. You are obviously one of those people that did zero researching on our candidates before you voted, if you even did take the time to vote. How do you know that McCain wouldn't make more mistakes than Obama in the future? You don't. Nobody knows.

Secondly, How in the world could you say this is my fault? I did not advertise, in anyway, on my car who my candidate was. Theoretically, if somebody were to vandalize your house is it your fault?

You need to realize we live in a world with billions of people and you can not agree with everyone, but to disagree with someone because you obviously do not know their background is ridiculous.

Until you recieve your GED, please do not bother commenting.

  27. Michael G,
Please point out where i said that it was your fault. As for the Obama McCain commenting, im not even gunna touch that. Obama supporters apparently dont understand simple logic so i wont waste my time.

And finally, i really do understand we live in a world of many people who dont all get along hence the fact that BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA is our next president. But Michael, thanks for clearing that up for me. And yeah, i will let you know when i get my GED. There should be alot of Obama supporters there, so maybe we'll be in the same class!!!! See you soon;)

PS I hope it still didnt come off!!!!!
