How To Get Help With Your WMDT Reception

My name is Jamie Heater and I am an Account Executive with WMDT.

I am sorry to hear that some of you are still having problems receiving our signal. Please give us a call! We have someone here that can answer all your questions. You can reach her at 410-742-4747 ext. 339.

We are receiving very few transition related calls at this point, so she is only here on a part time basis, but please leave her a message, with a daytime phone number and she will get back to you.

  1. Thank you very much for trying to help Jamie. Being a sales rep myself, I can relate to what you are going through. Stuff like this can be bad for business.

Perhaps you're not getting many reception problem phone calls because nobody's there to answer the phone. I started calling the number you provided in the other post around 4:20pm yesterday. I double checked the number you listed and called back several times. No answer, no recording no nothing. Again, I appreciate what you're trying to do help. I don't have questions to be answered about my reception by your part time helper. I need you your techinical management to drastically improve the signal to MY AREA or I need a waiver. It is as simple as that. My reception of 47 has sucked, even with the best antenna's available, for over 10 years. I should NOT have to purchase cable in addition to my satellite service just to get your station. WBOC's signal is PERFECT. Your's is NOT. Thanks again for trying to help.

  3. I reside about 2 miles southeast of Crisfield, near Pocomoke Sound. The antenna used by WMDT must be directional, or something, because I receive an excellent picture. It is full scale on the meter. My antenna is a Radio Shack U120 with a preamp. The antenna is up about 50 ft. My digital receiver is made by US Digital, and was purchased a few years back when UPN21 first came on the air.

  5. How about allowing us Directv customers to get ABC networks? You continually deny waivers to us local satellite customers even though we CANNOT get your station to come in in some areas without spending $$$ on antennas. Why should I invest more money into antennas when I have a dish?.I actually can get channels from Norfolk in better than those from Smallsbury with a cheap old UHF antenna.Since WMDT and WBOC will not give me waivers, guess what?I do not watch either network.NBC and FOX are my choice.

  6. With the switch to digital, my WMDT reception is much better, but the programs have been downgraded -- too much commercial junk.

  7. I live in the Rustic Acres area. I can get nothing on Channel 47, so I've made myself content with missing lots of shows I used to like.
