HELICOPTER FOR SBY NEWS

"Joe:

I think you should put-in for the surplus military helicopter to be turned over to SBYnews. The new equipment would benefit us greatly as surveilance and help to identify squandering government resources.

If WBOC can get one I don't see why you shouldn't receive one to.

I've got my pilots license and I'll gladly fly it for SBYnews special assignments for free. In light of all you have revealed through SBYnews we need all available resources to help enemize Salisbury/Wicomico bureaucrats of waste, fraud, and abuse. IT IS RHAMPANT.

Let me know what you think."

I know where there's one down in Princess Anne, I'll see what I can work out.

  1. Great idea---use the helicopter for news, not pretty scenery, kids at schools having a fire drill, overhead views of industrial accidents that are over with nothing left to see (move along, folks, nothing to see here), or other wastes of time and helicopter fuel. Sometimes all I can do is sit back and marvel at the colossal waste of time and helicopter fuel WBOC News wastes on trivialities. Captain Silly and WBOC could stop wasting our time on such nonsense. I have no doubt Joe would be able to provide us with stories with substance instead of fluff. Go for it, Hoe.

  2. Helicopter? My God Joe can't even take the old news off of his blog advertising like the Andy Harris sign. I think that would be way above his league.

  3. To Anon: how did you Andy Harris post get through? This site is not a free-speech site!

  4. I think it is a great idea for SBYnews to be outfitted with a helicopter.

Can you imagine the extended range of coverage with the new piece of equipment. If The Daily Times thinks they are in trouble now, they would surely be toast.

I'm all for it Joe. Talk about putting money to good use. I can't think of a better way.

Please let me know if I can help in any way. I'll even volunteer my services to be a part of the ground crew.

  5. RE: Granddragon

Can you imagine looking into the sky and seeing the blue logo:

    SBYnews

It gives me chills just thinking about it. I say go for Joe. I think it would be an excellent idea for our Government to donate this to SBYnews. In fact, I'm going to write my Congressman about it. What a great idea.

  6. Joe:

I hope your first mission for the newly acquired helicopter is to put the Salisbury Waste Water Treatment Plant under strict air surveilance.

As a former Chesapeake Bay Foundation member, I assure you that you'll have our support. In fact, please let me know if I can help to lobby the effort.

What a great idea. Imagine putting surplus government property to good use.

  7. Yeah, didn't the Princess Anne Police Chief get one?

  8. My god, I can tell you first hand the taxpayers would wholeheartedly support the idea.

With all that has transpired locally, what better way to put surplus property to good use.

    I say go for it.

  10. Joe the Daily Slime said in an article weeks ago when they were attempting to screw with the Sheriff Lewis stating it was stored near his property. Then nothing else an open ended comment. Well lets clear that up there is also another fifty houses in the area. The is also an Air Port and hangers near by is that what they meant by chicken house ?? I still cant figure that one out. They were also taking a potshot at Peccoraro. The response from him was pretty clear they had they story wrong again. Soo back to the helicopter. I just had to throw that in because it was the last day I purchased that piece shit paper. All right i am back know. Joe you dooooo not need a Helicopter. Nothing good can come out of that. Maybe a Segway. I guess my fear is you would let GrandDad be the pilot and those new specs he has would fog up while watching the Chiefy and there you have it,a major incident with the FAA. GD is best kept on ground patrol. lol He does not like high speeds either. I guess the answer is a drone. I would not fear a drone hitting my house or anyone elses. Joe keep up the good work. Grand Dad prepare to take over your district !!!!!!!!

  13. food for thought .....while you all waste time pondering if Joe needs a coptor or not my sons killer still rides our streets unaccounted for the death he caused. Whats wrong with this picture ? The same exact thing that is wrong with our country. Take from the needy and toss out are left overs. Go head Joe , get your helicoptor , maybe you could prevent some crimes from happening by early detection. Lets start a private police organization and we too can become the law . Therefore allowing us all to not follow rules that we impose on others. What a way to empty our prisons.
    Fly Joe...... Fly

  14. Why isnt the helicopter being used as intended in Somerset County?Thats the $25 thousand dollar question lol.Go for it,Joe-maybe they will let you buy it at a surplus cost.

  15. I don't think Joe should spend one red nickel of his money.

With all of the waste, fraud, and abuse SBYnews has exposed the Government should equip this news agency with its own Chopper. They are going to scrap it anyway. Better for Joe to put to good use.

My god, the price is cheap compared to what SBYnews has exposed. It's the least the Government can do in return for such excellent coverage.

  16. I can hear the Mayer now, trying to lobby Congress to declare a NO FLY ZONE over the Salisbury Waste Water Treatment Plant.

I've got news for the Mayer, with all of the crime I've seen on the regional crime stat reports, you might as well try to declare a NO FLY ZONE over the entire city.

Get out of here Daily Times reporter.

    You've been made. Now skat.

  19. And who will buy fuel for this helicopter? They don't sell it at Sams club.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Don't worry about the fuel as I'm sure SBYnews team will use it as opposed to abuse it.

Instead of racking-up needless hours like your government, I'm quite certain it will be used instead for a specific purpose.
