FDNY LODD & FUNERAL DETAILS UPDATE:
ReplyDeleteAs you know, FDNY Lieutenant Robert J Ryan was killed in the Line of Duty in a fire and collapse this morning. We also mentioned that he was previously seriously injured-but didn't want to retire. Lieutenant Ryan was injured (serious burns) while fighting a fire in Brooklyn on Oct. 3, 2006. He did not return to work until 12 months later. The injury was so severe that he was not allowed to go out in the sun without some form of protection for his skin....and this morning, he gave his life.
