Incident: Possession of Marijuana and Cocaine
Date of Incident: 13 October 2008
Location: U.S 13 S/B at Stage Road, Delmar, MD
Suspect:
1. Mark Anthony Bianco Jr., 21, Monrovia, MD
2. Manaia NMN Jesterson, 19, Frederick, MD


Narrative: On 13 October 2008 at 4:46AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle operated by Manaia Jesterson for exceeding the speed limit on U.S. Route 13 in Delmar. When the deputy approached Jesterson, the deputy detected an odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle and also observed that Jesterson was visibly nervous by the deputy’s presence. A Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office K9 responded and scanned the vehicle for the presence of the odor of illegal drugs. During the scan the K9 alerted to the presence of that odor. While searching the suspects the deputy located what the deputy recognized as cocaine along with a straw inside Jesterson’s purse. A search of the passenger, Mark Bianco, revealed marijuana in his wallet. Bianco was also found to have a metal smoking device for the marijuana also.

Both Jesterson and Bianco were arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where they were processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, both Jesterson and Bianco were released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Possession of Marijuana
Date of Incident: 14 October 2008
Location: U.S 13 S/B at St. Luke’s Road, Fruitland, MD
Suspect: Andrea Gail Martin, 20, Fruitland, MD


Narrative: On 14 October 2008 at 3:54AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle operated by Andrea Martin for exceeding the speed limit on U.S. 13. When the deputy approached Martin, the deputy observed that Martin appeared visibly nervous by the presence of the deputy. A WCSO K9 responded to the scene to scan the vehicle for the presence of the odor of illegal drugs. During the scan, the K9 alerted to the presence of that odor. The deputy searched the vehicle and located marijuana hidden in the glove compartment. Because of the find, Martin was arrested.

Martin was transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Martin was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Location: Nanticoke Road at Parsons Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: James Joseph Bruce, 21, Tyaskin, MD


Narrative: On 13 October 2008 at 11:54 AM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle operated by James Bruce for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with Bruce, the deputy clearly observed that Bruce appeared to be visibly nervous about the presence of the deputy. While the deputy was completing the stop, a WCSO drug K9 arrived and scanned the vehicle for the odor of illegal drugs. During the scan, the K9 alerted positively to the presence of that odor. Based on that alert, the deputy searched the vehicle and located a glass smoking device with marijuana residue in the center console. Further searching revealed a plastic bag containing what the deputy recognized as marijuana.

Bruce was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Bruce was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Incident: Driving Suspended / False Name
Date of Incident: 13 October 2008
Location: Naylor Mill Road at Northgate Drive, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: Wongus, Darrell, 21, Salisbury, MD


Narrative: On 13 October 2008 at 10:52 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle operated by Darrell Wongus for exceeding the speed limit on Naylor Mill Road. When asked for his driver’s license, Wongus stated he did not have it with him and identified himself with a fictitious name and date of birth. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy was able to discern that Wongus had provided a false identity. After positively identifying Wongus, it was determined that his Maryland driver’s license was suspended.

Wongus was arrested and transported to the Central Booking Unit at the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Wongus was released by the Commissioner on Personal Recognizance.

Providing a false and fictitious name to Law Enforcement

  1. Bill Martin must be really proud of his daughter, Andrea. This is her second marijuana related bust..and the last included intent to distribute. Make Daddy proud!!
