Who Would You Really Vote For?

As election day draws near, many people are going to vote for either a Republican or Democrat. These are the two major parties in our country. Although there are several other parties, most of them don't get much if any support.

If we didn't have any political parties and strictly voted for the person that we thought was the best to run our country, who would that be? Who would you vote for President if you had your choice? Why?

  1. I LOVE THIS QUESTION.

Partisan politics has taken the simplest of things -- namely, the color red and the color blue -- and made them into ideological land mines.

The world already has more than its fair share of red-versus-blue rivalries... Coke vs Pepsi. Bloods vs Crips. Yankees vs Red Sox. Best Buy vs Circuit City. The list goes on.

The answer is simple. Vote for the best person for the job, and don't worry about which gang they walk with, taking into account experience, character and education. Period.

  6. the best dream ticket is Rice/Powell but lets face it that not our choices here....ivote McCain because obama cant be trusted and i feel that i should be able to keep my hard earned money why should i be made to give it to some deadbeat lazy butt that doesnt want to work or exceed their potential? He will made this country more socialist and we will have less freedoms and more taxes. More govt control.

  7. Colin Powell would be an awesome choice. I like Ron Paul, too. He's a straight talker, doesn't need money, and loves the people of this country more than anybody else holding elected office.

  8. Colin Powell, no questions asked. To bad when he was considering it his family received so many death threats. This country wasn't prepared to admit he, being a black man, could do a fabulous job.

Mike Huckabee or Ron Paul would be my next choices.

Hillary has to many skeletons following her around.

Condi Rice isn't a bad choice either.
