Wal-Mart Cake

Keep in mind this actually really did happen. This is someone who was moving from an insurance claims office.

Okay so this is how I imagine this conversation went:

Walmart Employee: 'Hello 'dis be Walmarts, how can I help you?'

Customer: 'I would like to order a cake for a going away party this week.'

Walmart Employee: 'What you want on the cake?'

Customer: 'Best Wishes Suzanne' and underneath that 'We will miss you'.

STOP LAUGHING!

You can't fix stupid

  5. I can't believe somebody in the department didn't catch that!
Only order your cakes IN PERSON so you can write what you what yourself!

So what ingredient mix ups do they have if they can't get this right?

Omg! I wish I hadn't thought of that question.

  6. Wall-Mart, they have a confirmed seat at corporate power devil table. They have destroyed so many small FAMILY run local businesses its sick, a crime against the state if you ask me.

  7. I hope someone sent this to Walmart Corporate and the store manager where it was purchased. The Dumbing Down of America is an understatement.

  8. Which store was this at, so I make sure I don't go there.

  9. Doug Wilkerson,I think government
(federal, state, county, town) ruined small business. With all the rules, regulations, taxes, etc., people have had to find ways to cut expenses. I for one do not spend more than my income, so look for cheaper prices. All towns and cities across the country are in the same boat with downtown mostly offices or dead. I applaud anyone who can make purchases without looking at the price tag. Thought I expect they are either drug dealers or politicians.

  10. 12:25, With all due respect Wall-Mart has a monopoly. I agree that alot of small businesses have crumbled due to local goverment decisions. But Wall-Mart has gotten stores with tax breaks, roads and sewer from tax-payers, land grants and so on to stick their stores everywhere. They have caused the greatest migration of jobs from this country that i can remember. They exploit the chinese people in work factories as well as exploit child work forces. These people have screwed the American middle class so much they have to hide in a bunker. And ill bet you if you dug deep enough they have their hands all over NAFTA,CAFTA and all the other free trade agreements which have brought this nation to its economic knees.

  11. The only time that I ever bought a birthday cake from Wal-mart, I ordered it over the phone and I had no problem whatsoever. The cake was delicious, the price was right and the spelling of my Auntie's cousin's nephew's niece was perfect. It helped that the cake decorator had the same name, though.Happy Birthday, Shaniqua!

  13. And I thought it was bad when they misspelled "Chilren's" as "Childerns" when I ordered for the Children's Reading Fair a few years ago

  15. tris..things like that happen at ALL wal-mart's. I use to work for them and could tell you a ton of stories..customers are just as stupid..like the lady who tried to return a CD because it didn't have music on both sides of the CD (she was raised on records). That one had me laughing for weeks
