Judge Carol Noe and CH Lamplighters Bingo, Best In Show
There will be three (3) days of dog shows at the Civic Center on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Nov 7, 8 & 9. Each day is a completely separate dog show and has no dependence on the other two. There are 789 dogs entered on Friday, 1,070 on Saturday and 1,016 on Sunday. There is a $5.00 admission fee (Students $1.00.) Please also note that unentered animals are not allowed at the shows.
The Salisbury MD Kennel Club was incorporated in 1954 for the purpose of furthering an interest in pure-bred dogs in our community. We are IRS-approved non-profit, with an all volunteer membership. This will be our 55th year of service to our community.
A portion of our profits from operations has been regularly donated to local support of dog-related projects. Our continuing project is to equip as many of the police K-9's on the lower shore as possible with safety bullet-proof vests. We held dog training classes year round at our former training center on S. Division Street. We have now completed a new 8,000 square feet building on the property at 31663 Winterplace Parkway (near the Perdue Stadium), hoping to expand our activities and bring more tourism dollars to the area.
The Mispillion Kennel Club of Delaware moved their show to the Civic Center several years ago and will be the host for the Sunday, Nov 9th dog show, giving an additional economic boost to our area.
We will appreciate your attendance and support to help make our shows successful.
