NASCAR Is In Deep Trouble

The top 3 auto manufacturers are scaling back BIG TIME on NASCAR Sponsorship.

With automobile manufacturers struggling to survive and their $10,000,000.00 contracts will probably NOT be renewed.

I was told that Sunoco has been donating ALL of the fuel for all of the NASCAR Races as well. I'm not positive this is totally true but it wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Here comes the Depression Folks, especially if you're a big NASCAR Fan.

  1. I like NASCAR but I'm not about to feel sorry for any of them. Maybe it will cause the teams to go back to racing "stock" cars and shut down the monopoly of the "Big 5" (Roush, Hendrick, Earnhardt, Gibbs & Childress).

  2. Yesterday I had to defend my "Member's Only" jacket, and now my beloved NASCAR. What in tarnation is this world coming to? I have been saying for years there has been a conspiracy to kill off my beloved sport by insisting that practically all racers must go around the track (all day) "to the left." If you support John McCain, join me in lobbying for these races to start going the "right" way, THE AMERICAN WAY, from now on!!! Has anyone seen my Lee Greenwood 8 track?

  7. There was money earmarked to the bailout bill for Nascar. What they spent it already?

  8. SUNOCO doesn't "donate" any fuel. It's a tradeoff for advertising.

  9. They should have scaled back the racing years ago. Nascar is a joke. They gave up racing traditional cars long ago. They should be stripped down versions of off the shelf products. The fuel they consume is foolish and the ticket prices are rediculous. Its well past time NASCAR had its clock cleaned!!!

  10. NASCAR is a mere shadow of what it used to be,despite the fact it is much larger now.I can recall as a kid in the 70's before all the commercialization of the sport it was affordable and one did not need gobs of money or the "right connections" to get into it.
Reese Bobby...a Members Only jacket?WTF?are you the only member left?roflmao.Don't feel bad I still have BETA movies in a closet somewhere.....
