"Democrats use emergency financial bailout bill to fund illegal voter registration groups!
It seems the Democrats wanted 20% of any profit made by this grant to go to the very groups that time and time again turn out to be corrupt tools for voter fraud. Find below the portion of the bailout bill.
TRANSFER OF A PERCENTAGE OF PROFITS.
DEPOSITS.Not less than 20 percent of any profit realized on the sale of each troubled asset purchased under this Act shall be deposited as provided in paragraph (2).
USE OF DEPOSITS.Of the amount referred to in paragraph (1)
65 percent shall be deposited into the Housing Trust Fund established under section 1338 of the Federal Housing Enterprises Regulatory Reform Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4568); and 35 percent shall be deposited into the Capital Magnet Fund established under section 1339 of that Act (12 U.S.C. 4569).
REMAINDER DEPOSITED IN THE TREASURY. All amounts remaining after payments under paragraph (1) shall be paid into the General Fund of the Treasury for reduction of the public debt.
It turns out that the Housing Trust Fund is a way of funding ACORN, La Raza, and other groups that time and again are caught doing voter fraud operations for the Democrats. Why pray tell is the federal government funding liberal partisan operations? Here we go again, we can’t even get a bailout bill without the pork barrel."
Yaaawn... Why is trying to get more people to vote considered a liberal thing? Shouldn't we all want all people to vote?
ReplyDeleteAs for ACORN, they are the victim of a few corrupt employees. When you pay people to register voters and pay on a per registration basis, some people will take advantage of that system.
... and that's not the same as illegal voting. It's not like these fabricated people are actually going to show up and vote.
If McCain loses this race, I will put it on his advisers. He is not being given good direction by those so close to him.
ReplyDeleteMcCain is a true American Hero. He has given his entire life (a long one) trying to make this a better country for all of us. He is not interested in special interests, he's concerned about all of us.
Obama only wants to lie to the people that need the help the most. The low income people of our society are looking for a savior to bring them out of poverty by giving them a small slice of something better. But what will they do with it? Will they pay down debt or pay off medical bills? No. They will buy $300 video games, $100 sneakers. And once again, they will not work harder to help themselves.
Now, by no means am I stereotyping anyone in particular. I know that some people who are low income do work hard to try and get themselves ahead. My mother was one of them and I raise my children the same way.
for those of you that are confused about the complexities of our government, please understand that Obama is promising you much more than can be delivered. He is a lawyer, who is going to be more concerned with how he pays back his cronies, than following thru on promises. After years of doing nothing for the least of us, he will constantly lay blame to Bush. You and I both know that when people blame others, it's because they can't pick themselves up on their own merrits. Please, make the choice for a true American hero, John McCain.
So... On Monday of last week the House narrowly defeated a $700 billion bailout proposal, as Republican congressmen held out amid cries the bill was too expensive. In order to get the bill passed, $110 billion in pork projects had to be added. When the bailout finally was passed last Friday, the cost was $810 billion, thanks to pork projects for racetracks, rum producers, movie and television companies and, most incredibly, a $2 million tax break for makers of children's wooden arrows.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't this show the Republicans were won over with the Pork! Funny how McCain has said he will Veto ANY bill that crosses his desk with "Pork" on it, yet the very first oportunity he has to vote, he passes a bill LOADED with pork!!!
And in the McCain plan, we give the tax breaks to "Big Business" because they will take the money and "trickle down" the cash. Just like the AIG bailout! We give them over $100 billion and they immeadiately take a half million dollar vacation! I guess they trickled it down by "tipping" the servants under them.
ReplyDeleteIt was a Liberal bailout! Democrat vote yea 172 Republican vote yea 91. that is almost 2 to 1. This was forced upon us because it is an election year and the economy effects the election. Don't even try the conspiracy theory. McCain simply tried to show his bipartisanship in a difficult situation.
ReplyDeleteMardela, step away from the Kool Aid, turn off Rush and Hannity, think real hard, try to estblish a coherent, original, logical thought of your own......now vote Obama!
ReplyDeleteIts funny how you are trying to link voter fraud to Dems when it is a well know tool of Reps and it is how they won FL in 2000 and OH in 2004.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing to connect Republicans to voter fraud. The Dems have been trying for years. However, there is much evidence against Dem ties to ACORN and the voter fraud commited by them. It very clear who the crooks are. Take off your Democratic blinders and see thru your true American eyes.
ReplyDeleteBill give examples instead of throwing out statements that mean nothing. Florida was won by Bush (even after the liberal press reported different trying to sway voters in the western states that haven't voted yet) then the dems came up with the dimpled/pregnant chad theory! I distinctly remember what the press called a mob (a group of republicans) that went after a group of democrats that grabbed a couple of boxes of votes and ran into a back room and locked the door. (P.S. the press calls a group of democrats a protest)
ReplyDeleteanon 2:58 do you really think that if the republicans had even a hint of voter fraud that all the networks and liberal newspapers in this country wouldnt be shouting it from mountain tops?
ReplyDeleteLook at section 110 of the bailut. it gives the gov't almost total control of the real estate market and in the end, how much your house is actually worth.
ReplyDeletetheir ALL crooks and liers, NONE of them have ever kept a promise!
ReplyDeleteYou have to look at their track record, and hope like hell you pick the one that will/has lyed the least!
