"Joe,

I found this link very interesting and it shows the attempts on U.S presidents in history. This directly correlates with your post titled "What If Obama Is Killed? What If McCain Dies In Office? What If Obama Loses?"

It is more likely than people realize that someone will attempt to assassinate the next president whether it be McCain or Obama. I guess the real question is how would the U.S citizens respond in comparison to an attempt on either candidate."

  1. First of all, all this talk about assasinations surely just fuels the imagination of people who are already unstable--I don't remember anyone having these discussions in any of the elections since I have been an eligible voter, so why now? Secondly, the issue is not what Americans' reaction will be (we will be tremendously saddened, no matter who the president is), but whether the vice president is an acceptable president. Sarah Palin is not presidential material, not by a long shot. Commander in chief? No way.

  2. The point of this post is to make people realize that an assassination attempt is more likely than not. If you actually took time to read that link you would have seen that there has been attempts on the last 3 U.S. Presidents. This is a real issue and how would the citizens react differently between candidates. I really don't even need to ask that question do I.
