If You Can't Beat Em, Bus Them In

Last night was probably the rudest, sickening display of class and manors I have ever experienced.

The Kratovil Rent-A-Suporters disrupted the Debate like 18 year old adults who only made it through 3rd Grade West Virginia Step Children.

What do you feed these Idiots from Ocean Pines anyway? They acted like they were all rejects from communities around the country that no longer wanted them.

Some didn't appreciate Andy being so direct but let me assure you, I want a man in Congress that isn't going to say what you want to hear and kiss ass in order to get the job. Andy will stand up for YOU and he will stand very firm on what he believes in and only wants your vote if YOU believe he can do a great job in Congress. He's not running for a popularity contest here.

Getting back to the point here though. The rude people from Ocean Pines should be ashamed of themselves as they were setting an example for the positive, kind SU Students in attendance who, (IMO) handled themselves with class.

If you have an a$$hole parent like the ones attending last nights event, send them to Ocean Pines when they retire. They'll fit right in. Oh, they also have bus trips to Atlantic City, Landfills and other interesting places.

If I ever become that disruptive and annoying make sure you let me know. Oh, wait a minute, I resemble that remark. I guess I'm moving to Ocean Pines soon. (bowing my head in shame). LOL

  1. Look, you all can distract from the issues by pointing to the loud crowd, but the crowd only really started going when Harris claimed that Kratovil basically lets rapists and murderers go. Setting that aside, what do you think about Harris' statement that Iraq was a theocracy before the U.S invaded? That was so patently false, the audience gasped! Saddam Hussein was many bad things, but he was NOT a theocrat, he was a secular guy. That is a huge, huge mistake.

  2. Amen!!! I felt like I was at freaking drunken football game last night! Then again "their" candidate was only mirroring their behavior. So, what do you expect? I did like him getting so red-faced when his short-coming were pointed out, though.

  3. The "audience participation" at the debate last night can't hide this plain truth:

Kratovil put a real old-fashioned Eastern Shore whuppin on Harris.

  4. Fun size O'Malley did get red-faced last night...of course, I would turn red if I was embarrased in front of my friends too...Frank was trying to talk around the issues...Andy answered them head on.

  5. Sir:

In the area where I was sitting, many SU students were spouting off without any encouragement by anyone, and some of them, probably most, were razzing Kratovil and cheering Harris and Davis. The heckling was really "bipartisan".

Why the moderator did not repeat his request for silence is incredible.

  6. PS-

It seemed like Harris was deliberately pamdering to his supporters to get the crowd riled up.

  7. welcome to Hell on the Eastern Shore, aka Ocean Pines.

Lower class, former residents of elsewhere who have moved here for retirement.

Those of us in Worcester County have been dealing with it for years.

  8. I really didn't mind the herds that was bused in or all the packed SU students there for "extra credits", what I thought was abonimable was their disruptive hooting & haulering, and nasty comments. Completely turned me of.

  10. Yeah, Harris was an angel! He answered a question about oil by claiming Kratovil went easy on murderers and rapists! Give me a break.

  12. If Saddam was a "theocrat" Harris may be a Dixiecrat!

  13. It's long been known that Ocean Pines is full of rejects that landed here from someplace else. I'm not surprised that they stooped to this level. Ocean Pines, MDee Dee Deeee!

  18. and if you can't win on the issues, then bring up a stupid point about bussing people in.

You right-wing nutjobs are awesome at this crap. Don't address the fact that Andy Harris doesn't know that Iraq was a secular Arab country. Don't address the fact that Andy's voting record is AGAINST the middle class...

...just talk about bussing folks in to support Kratovil

The Republican Party: running on empty.

Well I see that Geoff Smoot has found this site. Either that or another retiree of the failed liberal education system in this country. Your post sounds exactly like the Daily Times Sunday post. Is it any wonder why our schools are so bad when our kids have to listen to this kind of speech, such as right wing nuts.

  20. Wow...you do realize that something like 98% of the Iraqi Government was made up of Baath party Sunni Muslims, right? It seems to me that if 98% of the gov't is owned by one religion and they make decisions based off of Sharia (Muslim Religious Law)...then that is a theocracy. A country does not have to be led by a priest or a cleric to be a theocracy!

  21. 5:24,
You don't know what you are talking about. Saddam Hussein was not a theocrat, in fact, he persecuted people who were religious.
