A Letter To The Edotor:
"Heyya, I was in Fruitland Walmart and was in lane 3 to checkout, and I see the guy in lane 1 with the Blue Shirt on,, BUT standing right next to him,,, acting like he was hanging out with him was this Skinny ugly kid in low jeans a White Jacket and a RED Bandana that he kept adjusting I guess to make sure he was seen,, He was like just hanging out on a street corner! Every once in a while he was dancing heavily to music in his head.. The kid was Ugly Kinda like a tall skinny Beetlejuice from
The Stern Show.. I asked the checker I was using,, she said yeah his bandana represents the Bloods I guess. She acted casual!!
Then as I left I asked the acting CSManager or Whatever she was and asked her about it,, She was like it was Normal that this piece of garbage was doing what he was.... NO ONE saiys or does anything???? Joe,. I see you post this type of news... Where was Security?/ This csr manager should be fired and I am seriously let down in this type of environment??? WHEN will they do something?? Oh After some gets robbed??
OR are the bloods there to PROTECT Wally World.. It Sucks It really seriously SUCKS My Freaking 2 cents ANON"
While I have agreed to Post this letter, I did reply stating that I didn't see anything here where they broke any laws. I added that while we may not like their attitudes at times, their dress codes and so forth, they too have to shop. I'll say, at least they were at the check out counter paying for the items they wanted.
Yeah, might have been a gang memeber or wannabe gang member. Although annoying, he didn't do anything wrong. There isn't anything Walmart employees could have done in that situation. Hell, every time I go into any Walmart there's some ignorance of some level of every color displayed. Welcome to life. What can you do? Nothing but ignore them.
ReplyDeleteDamn, sounds like you need to talk to your doctor about some sort of anxiety or schizo medicine. It is not that big of a deal, yeah these people are the dumbest of the dumb, but just mind your business its not like they are out to get you.
ReplyDeleteWall-Mart is a corporate gang.
ReplyDeleteThere needs to be a clarification here . The Gang memeber.. Or I will now call him Juice. Was standing behimg the cashier in Lane #1 like he was hanging out with him.. He was NOT purchasing anything! The cashier was actually , in the few minutes I was watching,, not even paying attention to him. But Juice was there like he was hanging with a pal on the corner.. VERY weird and disturbing. And I do feel that Walmart employees should have asked him , if he was not doing any business to move along... Yeah if you saw it I am sure you would agree,,,, he did not belong there at all! Later
ReplyDeleteif one was wearing blue and the other was wearing red... they are not together... crips wear blue and bloods wear red..very doubtful they were gang members, just wannabees.
ReplyDeleteHey, asdfjkl;,
ReplyDeleteYou don't understand. It is the job of good folks like the writer to assume the job of "protector" without actually having to do any real protecting. To be attentive for those things that may be "out of the normal", though they don't actually pay attention to anything, and to cause trouble for people they don't know, don't care about and wouldn't go out of their way for by posting stories about them on a blog. Welcome to the Brave New World. Busybodies are multiplying all the time!
Maybe he was friends with the cashier if he was that close. Maybe the cashier was slipping him some cash. Friend or no friend, he shouldn't have been that close to the cashier, if he really was that close.
ReplyDelete11:50 is on to something here-Loitering is a misdemeanor I believe, and what kind of manager would want his customer base feeling threatened/unsafe/pressured.I have cautioned about the poor economy and spread of "my car be busted/out of gas gimme a dolla'" scammers spreading to strip malls where the cash is. Watch your ass...Article in today's Sun about two men getting jacked at Arundel Mills. Sharks/predators always go where the chum/cash is. And Christmas is coming and even thugs have to make sure their kids have the GI Joe wiff Kung-Fu grip. Watch your assess.
ReplyDeleteanon 11:38 You are right, I don't understand....anything you just said. You dont make any sense. I went to middle and high school with these so called thug gangster bandana wearing trouble makers. And if you mind your business they will mind theirs.
ReplyDeleteI could only wish one of these wannabe wussy thugs tries something on me.
ReplyDeleteReese Bobby Has the idea I emailed Joe about,, It is not paranoia.. It is noticing things that most don't care to see.. At least if we said something,, spoke UP.. maybe we would be safer.. Man some of you people here have really sad futures. ONLY if it was your mother getting robbed would you say something... BUT then it would be too late...
ReplyDelete12:58-I am unable to post the link here but if you Google The Sun; and look on their front page today, there is an article about two men getting armed jacked after coming out of dinner at Arundel Mills by a group of 6 or more armed men. If you are familiar with the military, there is always a "patsy" that is used as a pointman/scout for the real invasion force. Keep your chin up and your skin thick-they hate to hear it sometimes but the readers here are so conserned about Karl Marx stealing their bike that they fail to notice when predators steal from the big wad of cash/jewelry you pull out in the parking lot, or the set of keys you leave in your expensive SUV....I don't necessarily think this is Blood/crip related because I have been around these cats in LA, but you are wise to offer this advice in the interest of public safety!!
ReplyDeleteThe loud overbearing idiots usually act this way to cover their true cowardness. If you stand up to them and call their bluff, they usually will back down. It's the quiet reserved ones that you want to worry about. They have a tendency to explode on short notice. But, always have your Glock with you just in case.
ReplyDeleteShoot first , ask questions later!
ReplyDeleteThen all you need is a street sweeper.
He probably worked there and was on his break.Wal-mart has no dress code except for that hideous blue smocksmocksmock.
ReplyDeleteIf Walmart threw out every ugly person, they would be out of business. Until said ugly person breaks a law, or violates a rule, he is nothing more than an ugly person. Being ugly is not a crime, even in Fruitland.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately you can't legislate good taste. If you feel uncomfortable with the type of people hanging out in a store, speak with your wallet and just do not shop there.Do know that there are still sensible parents out here like myself who do not let their kids leave the house looking like extras from TV's "Gangland".I do not know how they even get hired for jobs dressed like that but again theres no accounting for taste.
ReplyDeleteAs someone that has grown up around gangs, let me be the first to enlighten some of you. If you believe or assume that all gang members wear blue bandanas then you are programmed for the popular media portrayal. Those of you that think that gangs aren't smart and getting smarter should really wake up. Gangs are utilizing technology, creating numerous amounts of schemes to trick people into giving them money, they are also planning these elaborate crimes and leaving the police nothing to go on. Don't be naive and think that they are stupid enough to fit into the sterotypes that the police and media have given them. They are branching out, and using other means of letting other gang members and rival gangs know who they are. The next gang member you see may be wearing a suit and tie, and standing right behind you in line with a gun tucked in his pants.
ReplyDeleteif he's telling people he's a blood, it won't be long until he's done in by the real bloods. they don't take kindly of people joining the gang without their knowledge
ReplyDeletethe punks around here would never handle a gang initiation of seven people literally solidly kicking their ass for 15 minutes into a bloddy pulp. you want to be a blood, that's what it takes baybee
i'm all for it, let them kill their selves, overcrowding everywhere, it's time to thin the herd
haha... a white beetlejuice from stern! i gotta see this!!!
ReplyDeleteWell if Wal Mart decided to stop the kid because of a colored bandana. They would be invading his rights. And if he was so skinny and goofy. What is their to fear? By the way you said he was in the check out line which means he was buying something not doing any harm or stealing.
ReplyDeleteIt wouldn't be the first time people were refused entrance, bikers have for years not been allowed to enter events wearing their gang colors.
ReplyDeleteI've seen video of Hell's Angels restricted from entry because of the gang promotion wearing the colors.
Okay, So I work at the Fruitland Wal-Mart and I can tell you first hand that we have to gangs there nor are there any active members of any gang employed there!!! Just because you had a kid mean mugging you at the register (who happened to be wearing a red bandana) does not mean he was in any way part of a gang or that Wal-Mart or it's corporation had anything to do with that kid other then him being a costumer. At Wal-Mart we do not Disrespect our costumers so it is not for us to say whether one kid wearing a red bandana is in a gang and therefor shouldn't be allowed to step foot in the door. Then on the other hand, let's say he was a gang member.... he obviously wasn't hurting anyone just standing there so once again it caused for no concern for the WalMart associates to worry. just because you feel that you have to worry about something does not mean that everyone in the store should have to drop what they are doing and throw the kid out the store. We try to do our best in helping every costumer have the best shopping experience possible but that comes with limits. Next time maybe try not staring at people because they probably don't like it and they probably won't stare back. thanks!
ReplyDeleteoh and about the one wearing blue and the other wearing red....wal-marts uniforms are blue....maybe the other was a target associate!!! think about it...
