143 Days

Food for thought...think about this seriously...it may be a life changing decision.

You couldn't get a job at McDonalds and become district manager after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience of being a surgeon.

You couldn't get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after 143 days of experience.

You couldn't join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days of experience.

You couldn't get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news anchor after 143 days of experience.** *

BUT....

'From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session
and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, *Leader of the Free World.... 143 days.

We all have to start somewhere. The senate is a good start, but after 143 days, that's all it is - a start.

AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this and campaigning for him. We wouldn't accept this in our own line of work, yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of America ?

Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol!

"If you don't stand behind our troops, please feel free to stand in front of them..."

I was against McCain before I was for him...

  1. Really shitty to prop up our troops in defense of McSame Joe. It might interest you to know that the troops by a wide margin supported Ron Paul with their donations during the Republican primaries and that since then donations from the military members to campaigns favor Obama. Tell the truth.

  2. I am former Military and did tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I will not be voting for Obama because I believe all Presidents should have Military experiance. He has no experiance about it and wants to send more troops asap to Afghanistan. You cant send just anyone...Afghanistan and Iraq are two totally different wars. Iraq is Urban and Afghanistan is not. If troops were to leave Iraq right not and got to the mountains of Afghanistan...i feel they would not do so well. Yes the heat will be fine but their bodies are not prepared for the rigorous mountainous terrain. It took my platoon a while to get used to the terrain and to be able to traverse the mountains.

  3. 9:45 Where did you hear that at? I have friends who are in and have already done tours of iraq as infantry men in the Marine Corps. And i can assure you(according to them) , the vast majority of military personnel does not for one second support Barack Obama. Check out the youtube video that Joe had on here a while ago titled, Dear Mr. Obama. That should give you a taste of how military personnel feels. But of course you liberals wont comment on a video like that because maybe for one second you realize,"Hey that actually makes sense."

  5. I know the folks I talk to associated in some way with the military are most strongly supporting John McCain. He is a true American hero. He is near and dear to our hearts. He has more experience with the Military, with the government, with economics, with foreign affairs, with taking care of our country than Obama could ever have. What a disgrace to think that Obama could be the commander in chief. It makes me sick.

  8. Thats the problem, too many people are expecting it to be an American Idol competition. next thing you know we'll all be able to "text" our votes in. Reality tv is nothing more than a joke and has corrupted the mind set and thinking of the American people.
