The Robinson Trial Is On!
Tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM John Robinson of Robinson Jewelers will face a Jury in a case that is simply mind boggling. The story goes as follows.
While an employee in his business was working the front counter, John Robinson pulled out of of his many guns. He held the gun, then pulled out the clip and then pulled the trigger. Fragments went flying everywhere, in which some allegedly hit the employee.
The employee freaked out and became hysterical. I'm told John was telling her to calm down and not say a word to anyone about it, not even his Wife, he could lose his business and or gun license. He sent the female employee to the bathroom to collect herself. She was then kept at the business for the rest of the day and wasn't sent home.
Tomorrow should be quite interesting.
What a dink. I wouldn't let him work on my egg timer.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the charge(s)?
ReplyDeleteWho is his attorney?
ReplyDeleteDavis Ruark gets his permit pulled and did not even discharge it..This dumb ass cannot handle the responsibility of gun ownership and fires (allegedly) the weapon in his business causing injury to another and still holds his permit I mean what the hell...
ReplyDeleteApples & Oranges. But in my opinion, neither one should hold a gun permit. One carried a gun while drunk, the other one carried a gun while being his everday stupid self.
ReplyDeleteJanice. Joes buddy! How funny.
ReplyDeleteI know the girl involved very well. I worked with her at a local restraunt. She told me John left the store after it happened and she was not really hurt much, in fact she told me she worked till the end of her shift and only went to the hospital at the advice of her attorney. We will see. About time this went to trial this is costing taxpayers a fortune!!! I hope John gets what he deserves.
ReplyDeleteAccidents happen but leaving and not reporting the incident was to say the least STUPID! Responsible use of a handgun was not in this picture at all there was no reason for the weapon to have been out other than John being a show off with it. Just think this dumba$$ is president of Bennett Middle PTA. I for one don't want him any where near my children.
ReplyDeleteI wonder how many on the jury pool read this blog and will have to discqualify themselves for reading about this. Bet they figure they will need at least 2 of the jury pools for this one to show and get enough unbiased opinions.
ReplyDeleteJIM
GO CAPS!
Where do you get your incorrect information? I work in the court house. It is not a jury trial.
ReplyDeleteHe does need his gun permit revoked
ReplyDeleteAccidents do happen, it was the secrecy he demanded and the way he treated his employee he deserves a real nice hefty fine.
Because the attempts after the fact to cover it up is down and out wrong. Some employer he is.
Will he plead the "Davis Ruark" defense?
ReplyDeletethere is no jury actually he elected against one guess he's scared of what a group of the public may do to him so he requested a regular trial without the jury GO FIGURE!!!
ReplyDeleteIf you elect to have a jury trial and still loose most of the time the penalties are much worse and fines are higher due to the costs of a jury trial.
ReplyDeleteIf he had no previous record his douchebag attorney probably had the deal worked out before he went to court.
I hope his business is soverign from his personal assets or he could stand to loose the business and his home in civil court. Rake him through the coals, he deserves every bit of it for what he's done to people and employees throughout his life.
