  3. The vote will be between 58%&64% for McCain/Palin. Obama will do very well to get 40%:)

Obama can't hide from his words and racist, un-American associations.

    Vote Mcain/Palin:)

  5. i think that if people would really look into her doings in Alaska they might find mayor tilghman on a bigger stage, Machiavellian type leader that if she sees you as an opponent, your always against her. she will and has done anything to get her way and again if you poke deeper into her past in Alaska they would find her group of people who are kept close in her little circle. As i warning i would say if you think Salisbury is bad then imagine the USA the same way.

  6. Hey joe,
I use what is called MWSnap3 you can download it for free and it lets you take snap shots on your computer screen. With it you can take fixed shots full window shots or just a individual widow or menu shot. This software will allow you to take more professional snap shots of items on your computer screen, just a suggestion.

  9. I can see it now: November 5th, Obama sitting in a chair in Chicago, a bottle of Jack Daniels half gone, watching McCain/Palen's victory party, his wife screaming in his ear "how could you mess up MY chance to live in the White House, I should have listened to my mother and married Jerome Washington, at least he owns his own company.." and on and on.

  17. omg yes that was terrible they way she cut wasteful state money and even sold the states private jet on e-bay and told the delegates that would have to fly coach or business class, how dare she? that's just what we need politicians with sharper pencils, cut the pork

  18. The polls just go to show how stupid the American people really are.
I agree that with the exception of the economy, tax policy, foreign policy, health care policy, education policy, and Karl Rove politics McCain/Palin are offering change.
Let us not forget that in the past eight years under Republican leadership EVERYTHING about our country has gotten worse (unless you are a millionare/CEO/oil barron.) McCain offers nothing new -- plain and simple. Where does he differ from the policies of Bush?
His Palin pick is ridiculous. She is even more Bushlike than McCain. She doesn't belive in evolution, nor does she think that climate change in man made. She is an extremist in terms of abortion. She wanted to fire a librarian for not censoring books. She requested more per capita in earmark spending than any other state -- yet claims she is against it. She was for the bridge to nowhere until she was against it, and then never returned the funds. She lied about selling her private jet on ebay. She is being investigated for abuse of power. She doesn't want to teach sex education in schools yet her daughter is pregnant. She is forcing the poor, self described "f-ing redneck" boyfriend to be married and susequently thrust into the national spotlight. I can only imagine the comments that would be made if Obama had a 17 year old daughter who was not married and was pregnant...

Face it, McCain offers no new solutions. Please explain to me how he is different from Bush?

Thomas Littleton you are a foolish man. Obama is not racist, elitist, or unpatriotic. He is just a lot smarter than you. McCain graduated nearly last in his class at Annapolis. Why are you all so stuck on having a president that is "a regular guy". I think we want someone who is smarter than you or I being the most powerful man in the world.

The McCain campaign has done a good job at making Americans forget about the real issues -- that 8 years of a republican president has nearly destroyed all aspects of this country.

Wake up America -- McCain will continue us down the same path that Bush has... We can't afford 4 more years of this.

  19. Welcome, Barrie Palin!

SU student, you are EXACTLY right! From Palin's "I'm going to bust the good ole boys" ("right before I become them and worse" a la BPT)" to the illegally done sports complex (aka, Barrie's $10 million Fire Palace) right on through taking a tiny town with no debt to being $22 million in debt (BPT's mantra... "CHARRRRRGE IT!"), Palin's similarity to our illustrious mayor is scary.

But these guys here'll vote for her because "she's hot!" and reads speeches written by Bush's former speech writer soooooo well, yup, yup! And did I mention she's a hockey mom?

    ReplyDelete
  20. SU student,
What grade school let you pass with writing like that?
What does this even mean? "As i warning i would say if you think Salisbury is bad then imagine the USA the same way."

Did anyone ever introduce you to a comma? Not ready for prime time, indeed!

  21. You Republi-CONS are all the same: A big joke. They should arrest you for robber, because you're Oxygen Thieves.

Wow, a gallup poll. You can do polls until you're blue in the face, and you'll get a different result each time. The voters of America don't mean shit anymore. It's the states who decide with that electoral college crap. So unless you live in Ohio, PA, and a select other states, your vote doesn't count.

    ReplyDelete
  22. and you know the media is on their ear-can't find enough dirt on her.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Really? there are lots of polls saying lots of different things.

  24. SU Student, you have a lot to learn. Biden is a flip flopper.
see below link. Even he didn't have that much faith in Obama.

    http://blogs.usatoday.com...7/01/biden_on_obama_.html

Palin is what you get and is the real thing. Besides Palin is hot and Biden is not.

  25. Just 2 Obama-isms that I have heard about in the past week:

    1. Obama was asked about his faith and he started talking about Muslims and quickly changed it back to catholicism.

    2. He stated how he would "change" the 57 states.....Muslims beleive that their are 57 states in the Americas.

    Young Republicans for McCain/Palin 2008 :-)

  26. don't get too up. remember bush was losing in the polls in 04, but he won.

    ReplyDelete
  27. at + or minus 3, that could be McCain 46% at -3
    Nobama 47% at +3

Don't forget, polls are but a very small sampling of popular opinion.
A few hundred to a thousand wherever, which is determined by what's being sought.

    ReplyDelete
  28. haha. this means nothing! I'd favor with McCain on this poll just so your bubble is busted even more on election day!

    ReplyDelete
  29. "September 8, 2008
John McCain’s support among registered voters increased six percentage points from immediately before the GOP convention to immediately after. That convention bounce leaves him with a five-point lead over Barack Obama in the latest Gallup Poll Daily tracking update, 49% to 44%."

Gee... duhhhh! Do ya think that the recent convention would create a spike? Stop beggin Joe! Only matters at the end!!

  30. Anon 6:58 - Governor Palin has an 80+% approval rating in her state. I don't think Mayor Barrie has those kind of numbers. hahahaha. Maybe you should go to college in Alaska and find out what the real deal is for us.

  31. I never thought I'd see the day when a presidential candidate ran on the coattail of the vice president.

  32. Are all democrats as angry as those reading and commenting on this blog? Take a chill pill, smoke a doobie. Or, you could face reality and accept the hand dealt you. You are all going to stroke out at this rate.

    ReplyDelete
  33. There's no way McCain is going to get between 58 and 64%. Not even close. It should be a very close election, but maybe this time the Republicans will be on the losing end of the Electoral College system, just like when Gore got more popular votes than Bush, yet lost the election. Let's hope that happens to McCain this time. By the way, Palin did not sell the jet on Ebay, another fiction. She is like BPT, firing people she doesn't agree with, trying to get books out of the public library. Pretty scary.

    ReplyDelete
  34. ha! if my lack of a comma makes me "not ready for prime time" then so be it, however i think that if you truly look into her history you will find what i have said to have merit. I agree that Biden has flip-flopped many times and furthermore been against Obama on many occasions but i never said i was voting for either candidates specifically. My intentions were to bring to light Palin's history. We are so quick to judge Biden because we are so familiar with him. So please feel free to take my grammatical error as an apparent lack of insight into the situation but when we are sitting here two years from now in a recession and a jobless rate nearing 15% don't anyone worry because our VP will be "hott" and our oil cheap.

  35. It's amazing to me that there are so many people in Salisbury so excited about 4 more years of the same (McSame). Guess there is a millionare (or an idiot)on every corner here. Like pigs to slaughter.

    ReplyDelete
  36. 902am, Palin never stated she sold the jet on ebay {was it a demo that started that rumor?} I quess if she agreed with wastefull spending she'd kept dishing out those big salaries for those un-needed gov. positions and residents wouldnt have gotten those 60% decrease in property taxes. Can you think of any books that shouldnt be supported by public library's? Maybe "how to be a serial pedifile"? Or " How to be a terrorist"? How about you tell everyone what kind of book it was?
Do you know? Or maybe your just repeating more rumors?

    college my eye!!
