I'm Voting Democrat

I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

I'm voting Democrat because when we pull out of Iraq I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're doing because they now think we're good people.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the slaughter of millions of babies so long as we keep all death row inmates alive.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that business should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as THEY see fit.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy headed elitist liberals need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would NEVER get their agendas past the voters.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the terrorists don't have to hide from us over there, when they come over here I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off with.

I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies' profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn't.

Makes ya wonder why anyone would EVER vote Republican, now doesn't it?

Down to my retirement that I have worked YEARS for (proposing a 39.6 tax) just on that alone plus the Capital Gains tax increasing to 28 per cent
on the sale of my home!!!! IS HE CRAZY! Or better yet, the ones who are voting for him - are they CRAZY!!!

  6. you people are complete idiots.

8 years of your beloved Bush... anon 7:50, stop watching Fox news and actually do your research on Obama's tax plan. Check out snopes.com.

    Here is a scenario:
If McCain wins... the military is still in Iraq no matter what, and still ignoring Afghanistan, but deciding to invade Russia becuase the president's aid is a lobbyist to Georgia. And them McCain reinstates the draft and your son's get called in to fight even though they don't want to and even though the Bush administration lied to the entire nation and world about the intelligence they had on Iraq. And we make no progress on alternative energy becuase our vice president is an Alaskan and wants to rip that state dry of oil. And the richest of the rich are getting richer with tax breaks and the poor and middle class are ignored. And the health care industry is deregulated and more insurance compaines and pharmaceuticals become wealthy while you fight to get your treatments and meds paid for. And the supreme court overturns Roe v Wade and your daughter gets sick from a back alley abortion because she had no other choice. And the continued spying and lying to the American public started in the Bush administration, and the ignoring of the constitution. And America's standing in the world continues to decline because we are so sure that we are better than everyone else that we don't see other nations going past us. And our education system continues to decline so our children can't compete with nations like China and India. And the federal deficit continues to pile up. And social security is no longer protected. And medicare is bankrupt...

This is just the beginning...and all because the crazy right wing nut jobs are convinced that Obama is a terrorist Muslim.

  7. 10:50, you tell 'em! This nonsense about Obama being a terrorist because his middle name is Hussein drives me nuts. You're right on the money with everything you said, except it's not nice to call people crazy right-wing nutjobs, even if that's what they are. ;)
Why can the opposing sides not be civil and respectful of everyone's right to their own opinion?

  8. 1050 I notice you can rebuke what Joe posted about Democrats? Thats because it is all true. Obama will destroy this country.

  9. To 10:50 AM

Not Muslim, just a ultra liberal. Liberalism has never worked and never will work. Results matter, and liberalism doesn't deliver. Equal misery for all (except the elites) is the liberals mantra!

  11. It's so crazy to blame one person for what is going on in this nation. The President can not make all of this mess himself, just like the future President won't be able to clean it up alone. Don't forget Congress people! Those guys are the ones making and passing the bills that are sent to the President. They also have to vote for us to go to War. So why aren't we screaming about them. Yikes, the majority in Congress on both sides just happen to be Democrats. Seems to me we were all better with a Republican Congress even though we had a Democratic President (Clinton).

I'm a registered Republican, but really politics aren't my thing. I'd have no problems voting for Democrat if I thought we were better off. My vote is still up for grabs in this election. Neither one of them has made me make up my mind yet.

  12. Well 10:50, I see you got your daily DNC talking point eMail. It is folks like you that really worry me. It is said the liberalism is a mental illness. Go see a doctor and have that part of you brain removed please.

  13. Biden said we should just give Iran 200 Million so they would consider not going nuclear.

    That didn't happen of course.

Then Biden told Israel they would just have to live with a nuclear Iran.

Sorry I can't live with a nuclear Iran. Their first nuke would be delivered to Washington DC. Second to Israel when they knew we couldn't respond. And don't tell me we could stop it there is no way to stop a bomb well hidden in a small ship shielded by tons of lead.

Iran openly supports Hezbola and Hamas. Both endorsed Barack. Hamas donated money to Barak through the internet which has no controls to make sure foreign donors are Americans, unlike McCains site. He can not possibly verify doners are American Citizens because he doesn't gather sufficient information.

Barack is muslim under shria law as his father was, that is their law. meaningless as far as I am concerned though. I do care that he supported Odinga in Kenya. A radical communist who supported Shria law for Muslim areas in Kenya. The real point of Obama in muslin dress next to Odinga. Who could support a man who had his followers machette his opponents when he lost.

  14. 7:50 AM,

Barack Obama has NEVER proposed taxing you on those two things. Either you are misinformed or you're spreading misinformation. If you make less than 250,000 bucks a year, you will get a bigger tax break than what John McCain is proposing, and Obama isn't proposing raising capital gains taxes.

I often wonder if the only Republican voters left are the low-information voters.

Everyone I know who is educated on the issues is voting Democratic, this year. The rest of you seem to be pushing false charges and making up your own facts in an attempt to win this election. And the worst part is that, if you're in the middle class and vote for John McCain, you'll be voting against your own interests.

  15. 1:49,

Anyone who votes to not take care of our veterans should never ever be elected.

I couldn't agree more. Which is why you shouldn't vote for John McCain.

1.)He voted against an amendment that would provide $20 million to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for health care facilities.

2.)McCain was one of only 13 Senators to vote against $430,000,000 for the Department of Veteran Affairs for Medical Services for outpatient care and treatment for veterans.

3.)McCain voted against increasing Veterans medical services funding by $1.5 billion in FY 2007 to be paid for by closing corporate tax loopholes.

4.)McCain once again voted for abusive tax loopholes over veterans when he voted against creating a reserve fund to allow for an increase in Veterans' medical care by $1.8 billion by eliminating abusive tax loopholes. Jeez, McCain really loves those tax loopholes for corporations, since he voted for them over our veterans' needs.

5.)McCain voted against increasing the amount available for medical care for veterans by $650,000,000. To his credit, he also voted against the 2001 Bush tax cuts, which he now supports making permanent, despite the dire financial condition this country is in, and despite the fact that he indicated in 2001 that these tax cuts unfairly benefited the very wealthy at the expense of the middle class.

6.)McCain urged other Senate members to table a vote (which never passed) to provide more than $1 billion for National Guard and Reserve equipment in Iraq related to a shortage of helmets, tents, bullet-proof inserts, and tactical vests.

So, as you can see, McCain should NOT have your vote if you care about our veterans.
