Gordy's Getting There But They're Still Not Getting It

The photos don't lie Folks. The lines to get gas at Sam's Club are getting longer and longer while the other guys around Town have none.

Bill, you should click on the 4th photo and see who's pumping gas right there at Sam's Club. ROTFLMAO! Even the City of Salisbury Employees are getting it! Who knows Folks, maybe this series of pictures will get the Gordy's to give out special discount cards to City Employees?

  1. City Employees don't like Gordo and his "better than you" attitude. We are done with him. Even his own employees are done with him. They say its all about comparing them with the wawa employees.

  2. Hey Joe,

Do you think the Gordy's went to bed last night watching the Hurricane coverage and just dreaming about how much they could raise the prices today and tomorrow? Gordy was probably thinking back to 2005. That's when after Katrina he jacked the prices up and didn't order more supply so the prices could stay high. When he finally ordered gas, he only ordered Premium so he could charge a premium. I bet they were already spending their profits last night. Maybe they were thinking about a major donation to Kravoil, or as I know him "the guy I ain't votin for". Oh well oil prices bottomed out and now "poor" Gordy is gonna have to lower gas prices. Poor Gordy

  3. I've been telling coworkers and anyone at the pump my conspiracy theory. The theory is this "gas prices would fall before or right after the Conventions" You see it happened in 2006, we went below 2 bucks a gallon during the run up to the elections. Big oil doesn't want gas prices to be an election issue, and it's happening again. Gas will go down to $2.75 a gallon, Obama or McCain gets elected and propose tax increases or a greenhouse tax which will raise prices again for another 2 years.

Now someone needs to tell Gordy, or the whole Conspiracy will collapse. Get with the program Gordy

Uh, can you please tell me what convention was held in the 2006 election? Your little theory might be a bit off base or flawed since the last presidential election and conventions were held in 2004.

  6. I would rather pay a few cents more with no lines than wait in line. Time is money also. At least toe. People who dont value time are the ones who wait in line.
I mean really... is it worth waiting to save 1.50-2.00 a fill up? Really?? Not to me.
BTW JOE the beer is cold at the cave!!

  7. I live in Salisbury and work in Berlin. In my tired stupor on my way to work I neglected to get gas before leaving Salisbury. I paid $3.53 here in Berlin which is not unusual. WTF?

  8. Joe:
Why the discord between you and Mr. Gordy? You have been on him like a tick on a fat dog for some time, just wondering what he has done to bring forth your wrath, must be good share with us please!
