Federal Bailout

On the eve of the massive Federal Bailout bill of our banking industry, I thought this would be an appropriate time to disclose to our viewing audience.

On page three of J. Edgar Hoover's Book - (former FBI director ) - 'Masters of Deceit', he tried to warn America what a "Soviet America" would mean.

Here's what Mr. Hoover wrote:

'In June 1957, Nikita Khrushchev, Soviet Communist Party boss, was interviewed before a nation-wide American television audience. With calm assurance he stated:'

" I can prophesy that your grandchildren in America will live under Socialism. And please do not be afraid of that. Your grandchildren will . . .not understand how their grandparents did not understand the progressive nature of a Socialist society."

Just in case your not aware folks, we are about to enter what William Z. Foster, former National Chairman of the Communist Party, referred to in his book, "The Twilight of World Capitalism".

For the discerning SBYnews readers, Knowledge is Power.

You better lock and load now! It's at your front door.

Taking from you to give to those who won't work.

Changing history so it won't offend someone.

Telling you how you can and can't use your property.

    Watering down your constitutional rights.

Representatives not representing the will of the people.

Taking your property and giving it to someone else without your consent and against your will.

On a local and national level, little by little until you have nothing left.

How long will we let this go on?

  3. The twilight of capitalism...ENOUGH with the yellow journalism. This bailout is designed to prevent a worse problem and has nothing to do with socialism.

  4. RE: 220

It's gone on way to long.

The Government has taken your property rights - (Forest Preservation Act, Nature Conservancy, Agricultural Protection Act, No till, set-a-side, and lord only knows what else).

AND YES, the Government has taken from you to give to those who won't work.

I've about had enough of this shit to. Your elected officials are so full of shit telling you they are for smaller less obtrusive governemt, and look what happens when they get in there. They feather their own nest and the hell with you or me.

  6. On top of that a judge recently ruled that any referendum that over rides a decision made by your local government is unconstitutional......so they have effectively stripped more power from the people. Those interested, those who are really tired of these lying politicians should meet to discuss what to do to get our point across. What say you? Don't stand around and bitch. Do something!

  7. Bumped you head? I don't understand.

  9. Sometimes things happen for the better although you can't see it until the dust settles.

Even if a bailout is negotiated, it will only delay the eminent correction - (capitulation or sell-off) - for another year or two.

I hate to say this, but I think capitalism is now history.

Just to many indicators pointing to the inevitable. I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.

  10. Obama, is a Marxist and will bring more socialism to this country if he gets elected.
He has publicly stated that the wealth should be redistributed.
The reason Fannie Mae and freddie Mac failed was because Bill Clinton required them accept bad mortgages from people who could never pay.
The government in the mortgage business is socialism!
When will the people in this country wake up? Obama is BAD FOR THIS COUNTRY!
Just look at the people Obama hangs around with...Ayers a communist!, ACORN a communist group.
Look at how Harry Reid tried to sneak into the bailout bill a bunch of money for ACORN!
The citizens of this county should be downright PISSED!

  11. Do you folks really believe that pure capitalism is the answer?

  12. you all need to take a political science course to understand what you are talking about. Do you want your retired family members to give their social security checks, or medicare, etc..

we had more socialism type programs in the 30's than we do now and America made out well.

  13. RESPONSE TO 6:35 POSTING:

    You are full of melarky.

Which planet did you come from?

How many facts and figures do you have to see?

How many plant closings, how many unemployed, how many social programs, how many anti-property rights, how many condemnations, how many taxes - (ad velorium, personal property taxes, real estate taxes, sales taxes, value added taxes, tobacco, alcohol, hotel room tax, inventory, flush tax, . . do I have to go on?

Geezz. Any political science course worth its salt couldn't ignore this much evidence.

  14. Depression-era programs were workfare. People were hired by the government to do community-based jobs and were paid for those jobs. They actually had to work to earn government money. Hardly what happens today.

I'm not a political science major but I do know about Ohms law, and Kirchoff's law, and if looks like a duck and quacks like a duck it must be a duck.

America is now definitively a Socialist State.

  16. 6:35 doesn't know what he's talking about.

It's obvious he hasn't learned about Marxism, Leninism, Stalinism, and Trotskyism.

I had a history professor in college and he made sure we knew about the isms.

    We're there.

  17. 6:35 may have taken a political science course but obviously hasn't taken a history course... prior to 1913 we did not pay taxes and social security didn't even exist. The "socialist" programs of the 30's still demanded personal responsibility and accountability... it wasn't "take it because you are entitled" like it is today...

7:46, you are right, we are there.

  18. Now wait a minute, Einstein, Jesus and Robin Hood were socialists, weren't they? I admit that I'm no student of economic systems, but isn't there some something between pure capitalism and pure communism that may be best for society in general? An honest question to those of you who are better read then me: Can a democratic society also be a socialist society or are they mutually exclusive? In other words, does a democratic or republican form of government have to choose one certain economic system, or are they free choose or create any economic system that best suits their needs?

  21. Men may differ as to the particular form of governmental activity with respect to industry or business, but nearly all are agreed that private enterprise in times such as these cannot be left without assistance and without reasonable safeguards lest it destroy not only itself but also our process of civilization.

  23. How many farmers on here want to give back their farm subsidies? That is a socialism program.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Response to 6:59 posting. You need to be the first one inthe political science class. Learn the facts and wake up.

plant closings, If we were going to socialism the plant would be open and run by the government.

how many unemployed, the rate is at 6 percent now. under socialism the government would give them a job. Since 1976 the hightest the rate went was 9.7 in 1982.

    how many social programs,

how many anti-property rights, please name a anti-property right. See the Bill of Rights and look up what "right" is in relation to the people.

how many taxes? Taxes are part of all forms of governemt. They are not a socialism program.

    ReplyDelete
  25. any government-owned, -funded, or -subsidized operation is considered to be a socialist program. For example, publicly owned airports, sports arenas or government-funded universities can be considered socialist operations. Look at all of the problems these things have caused!

    Lets do the following:
    -close the airport
-close SU and UMES and Wor-Wic
    -public schools
    -cut funding to PRMC
    -stop unempolyment
    -close the civic center
    -stop social security
    -medicare
    -crop insurance
    -beach replenishment
    -want me to go on..

  26. We already live under socialism, like an earlier comment said-those who work are taxed in order to "redistribute wealth" and support programs to care for those who do not work. Many states are severely restricting individual rights, from those as serious as the right to bear arms to the little stuff like smoking bans.

    ReplyDelete
  27. smoking is not a right!

  28. everyone against socialism make sure you refuse social security

    ReplyDelete
  29. Refuse to pay social security would be the correct thing to do.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Social security is bankrupt, Grand-dad is right about the illegals being used to keep it afloat. With-out improving home values nothing will of been done, except saving the rich bankers with our money. Capitalism is falling apart.
