Delmarva Dental Services Open House


Come join us for our Open House at our New Location in The East Park Professional Center 1310 Belmont Avenue Suite 301 in Salisbury, MD just off Route 50!

Our open house is Thursday, Sept. 18th between the hours of 5:30 - 8:30pm with our Ribbon Cutting at 6:00pm. We will be giving tours of our New Office showing all of our newest, latest and greatest features we have to offer, along with lots of food, fun and giveaways!

Grand Prize giveaway will be up to a $10,000 dollar makeover!!

  1. I think it's great to see that yet another dental practice can afford to open a plush new office, while many folks can even afford the luxury of basic dental procedures. Where's the average Joe without dental insurance supposed to go to get dental work done without having to mortgage the house?

  2. I love the new office! They've been there for a while now and it's really nice. It's bigger than the old office with lots of room for parking (which they didn't have before). I did feel a little upset that they upgraded to a new office and lots of expensive equipment, but then I realized that the level of care I was getting also increased. The ladies there are the best and always bend over backwards to help with billing and setting up payment plans. Dr. M is great!

  3. This practice is great! They are very willing to work out payments for services (often without interest!), are friendly, and thorough. The office expansion was planned for at least two years and was well deserved by all doctors and hygienists who work there. And it's kid-friendly, too.

    You sound like an ad writers for DDS. Since when do they take payment plans? I have been going there 8 years and you either pay cash or credit card. They expect payment when services are rendered. And they are expensive. They also charge $50.00 for missed appts. that you don't even know you had.

    To Everyone: Do NOT let Dr. M give you a Root Canal. It will need to be redone in about 6 months by an Endodontist. Only let an Endodondist perform Root Canals.

    Dr. Harmon is the dentist to see if you go to DDS.

  5. When I went here several years ago (before the new building and fancy equipement)...all they wanted to focus on was this really deep cleaning....cost? $2500.00! All I went in for was a regular 6 month checkup!
    You're kidding me...right? That's what my response was! They were willing to finance it for me (with credit approval). I said no thanks.
    I didn't have the "deep" cleaning and my teeth are fine.

    I never went back and never will.
    New fancy building and new equipment means higher prices and does NOT mean higher level of care...get real.
    Somebody's gotta pay the mortgage..and it's the customers.

  6. 11:54 - I'm not an ad writer, I've just been going there for years. They've had payment plans for at least the last seven years, you just have to ask (and get credit approval). I always get a phone call for my appointments, at least a few days before.

    Dr. M gave me a root canal and I had no problems. Every procedure is different, though.

    12:38 - It can most definitely mean a higher level of care. When the doctors and hygenists have proper, working equipment and are in a facility that encourages communication, it increases moral...which increases service to the customer. Ever walk into a store where the equipment doesn't work, or the employees hate their jobs (the post about the North BK is coming to mind)? You aren't going to get good service in those situations. When everything works and the employees feel good - service quality increases.

    Honestly, I don't mind paying a little extra for the service I have always gotten there. If you do, don't go - there are plenty of dentists around town.

  7. Dr. Esham is the reason I am getting regular dental care again. He truly cares and will work with you on payments. I have never had an appointment that I wasn't called a couple days beforehand. Please stop griping because you haven't updated your records or if you are jealous because you didn't have the tenacity to make it through med school. The whole practice is great, from the doctors to the front desk people.

  8. I was the one who sent this announcement to Joe to post on the blog! I'm proud to work @ DDS, our office truly cares about each and every patient we have. If we suggest a treatment it's because we HONESTLY feel it would benefit the PATIENT, not the office! Now, I'm sure you could go to another office and they will do what you want and not educate you on what would be in your best interest but thats your decision to make. I love coming to work and meeting someone new or catching up with my regular patients because we actually do know who our patients are.

    Come to our open house and experience a staff who will actually care about YOU!

    If that tooth with the root canal ever starts to hurt do NOT go back to DDS - go straight to the endodontist. Dr. M did my root canal, after 6 months I was in severe pain from that tooth. I went in to DDS and I saw Dr. Esham. He wanted to do an "APICO". He said the root canal might not have been done thoroughly and a canal could have been missed. His exact quote was "we don't have the equipment that the endodontists have". I left and that's where I went. At the endodontist I found out my tooth was abscessed and a piece of the file was left in one canal. It had to be redone.

    DDS did refund my $750.00. The endodontist charged $1200.00 but I would have rather paid the extra to get it done right the first time.

  10. 11:52 - I had my root canal done 5 years ago, and not a problem! Again, every procedure is different.
