Stewart Haemel's Company has stopped printing for the Liquor Dispensary due to a "conflict of interest."
It's amazing just how powerful the Blogs truly are. Me personally, I think the man should be brought up on charges along with Alessi for such conflicts of interests.
Sad part is, his company consistently had the lowest bid. Thanks for costing the County more money.
ReplyDeleteInteresting. It's amazing the man knows a conflict of interst when he sees it. He and his wife have been disgusted for years that they never received any business through Papco from the county. So he took advantage of his appointment on the LCB. Especially, the same man who stood in front of the cameras at the last county council meeting and lied stating all information requested had been turned over. Mr. Haemel has lost credibility in the community.
ReplyDeleteOh, like it wasn't a conflict before?
ReplyDeleteHe and Alessi both should be reported to the state ethics commission.
two cents it's free money remember, haemel and alessi thought so anyway
ReplyDeleteit still doesn't make government selling alcohol or in competition with free enterprise right

I was waiting for that GA Harrison. Why didnt you use your name though?
I think Haemel is an honest man caught up in a terrible system.Proper ovesight of the entire dispensary sysyem would have prevented such conflicts.

ReplyDeleteYou'd better check the last time that bids were sent out! They are one of the highest shops in Salisbury!
two sentz...
ReplyDeleteIt's real easy to have the lowest bid when you have all of the other bids that were submitted. That's the conflict of interest!!
It's Pollitts job to press charges, that why we established the ex. branch....to save us money and such, if he dosent file charges he's just as dirty as thos e 2 are...
ReplyDeleteIs this anything like Dick Cheney awarding "no-bid" Iraq contracts to Halliburton and recieving nearly $400k from them while in office?
ReplyDeleteThe LCB has been outside the law for a good while now, so it certainly is time to put a stop to their control and bring charges where they belong!
ReplyDeleteA. Goetz
Anyone who really cares about the wrong doings at the dispensary should show up for the council meeting on Tuesday and inquire how Justin and his bosses are spending the money. Afterall, he stated last week they had 9 plus change in the bank. No that isn't $9 plus change but instead almost $1 Million.
