I saw one the other day sitting on that stormwater drainpipe across from Market Street, what a beautiful bird but perched on that drainpipe made me a bit nauseous.
The third one is nothing less than awesome!!!! Gorgeous picture.
Pardon my ignorance, but what type of bird is this? Looks a lot like a sandhill crane.
Blue Heron that is, they have a huge wing span.I wish the state would adopt the Blue Heron as the state bird.I've never seen a Oriole my whole life and I've lived in Maryland 51 years.
