Yesterday morning the Shore Bank called 911 for an alleged gas leak. The Fire Department was quick to respond to check out the apartments upstairs to see if there was in fact a gas leak there. The fumes were horrible downstairs in the Bank where they had to open doors and clear the air inside. Perhaps someone from the Fire Department can update us on the outcome?
Joe, could be coincidence, but while the fire department was searching the upper floors of the building, it was discovered that a tenant had fallen asleep while boiling eggs. This caused her unit to fill with smoke - which could have possibly been the cause of the smell yesterday.
nothing else was found by the fire department, nothing was found by the plumbers that subsequently investigated.
