Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On August 21, 2008 at approximately 8:25 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were on routine patrol in the area of W. Main Street when they observed the below listed suspect operating a bicycle in violation of traffic laws. The suspect was stopped and arrested for littering. A search of the suspect’s person, incident to arrest, revealed two (2) smoking devices containing suspected crack/cocaine.

ARRESTED: Duwayne Edward Taylor, 57 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES:
Littering
Possession of cocaine
Possesion of cds/paraphernalia

DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking CC # 200800030273

On August 24, 2008 at approximately 11:43 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were in the area of East Vine Street and observed the below listed suspects making entry into a residence through the window. The suspects were stopped, and interviewed, and it was determined that two (2) of the suspects had assisted the third suspect with making entry into the residence, which was unoccupied.

ARRESTED #1: Deron Adrian Banks, 21 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

ARRESTED #2: Carson Lee Wilson, 25 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

ARRESTED #3: Darryl Anthony Byrd, Jr., 23 years of age Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES (All):
Fourth degree burglary
Conspiracy to commit burglary (2 counts)
Malicious destruction of property

DISPOSITION: All suspects released to Central Booking CC # 200800031352

On August 25, 2008 at approximately 5:50 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department were in the area of Waverly Drive when they observed the suspect in a reported shoplifting from the Illusions game store, also on Waverly Drive. The suspect was positively identified by store personnel and was placed under arrest. The property was recovered.

ARRESTED: 14 year old juvenile Salisbury, Maryland

CHARGES: Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Released to guardian CC # 200800031041

  1. I'll bet that dangerous guy on the bicycle was first spotted from the Joe-cam.
