Register Early For The Summer Poker Classic Tournament And Save

Register by Friday, August 8 and Receive $25 Discount

(Salisbury, MD) The Summer Poker Classic No Limit Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament is returning to the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center on Saturday, August 23. The first place prize will be nearly $25,000 if all seats are sold. Register prior to 5:00pm on Friday, August 8 and receive $25 off the regular buy-in price of $275.

Proceeds from the one day tournament will benefit the Friends of Wicomico Recreation, Parks & Tourism’s “Tomorrow Fund”. This fund provides scholarships to families in need for county run after-school child care, summer day camps and youth recreational programs.

The game is No Limit Texas Hold’em and each buy-in includes 10,000 in tournament chips. Doors will open at 8:00am and the main event will begin at 10:00am. Thirty minute levels and blinds starting at $25/$50 will offer additional chances to win.

The buy-in for those registering after Friday, August 8 will be $275. Pending availability, those interested can register at the door the day of the tournament for a $300 buy-in. Registration is open to participants 18+ and is currently being accepted at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center Box Office, open Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Forms may also be downloaded from www.easternshorepokerclassic.org and mailed to the Civic Center at 500 Glen Avenue Salisbury, MD 21804. Payment must accompany registration. Cash, checks and money orders are accepted (please do not mail cash) forms of payment.

  1. heck no...... I'd rather go to AC or Vegas where they have REAL tables, REAL dealers, and REAL drinks. On a side note.... Hey Joe you need to look into all these ELKS clubs and FOP's having these tourneys every freakin week. I think they are allowed like 6 a year. It seems some of these folks are getting greedy and are breaking the rules. Its turned into if you are a not for profit, heres a free pass to hold as many gambling events as you can......what gives?
