The Prez with a Buzz

Gold and Oil go down the dollar goes up for a few days. The President heads the Olympics and falls off the wagon, and Cheney stays home and starts WWIII with Russia.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.

  2. Wymzie - you are a left wing loon.

Wymzie is fuzzy thinking, vapid and diffuse. She is not, however, "left wing!" She is just a "loon!"
She is a not even a dangerous loon. People on all sides see her for what she is: "fuzzy thinking, vapid and diffuse."
Her answer for American leadership? Throw her vote away on someone, (Ron Paul), who doesn't have any, not even the slightest, chance of winning.
Much to my mirth, in an attempt to defend her innane conclusions on Zionism she will contradict herself many times while apparently not even realizing the implications of what she has written:) Sometimes I think she does not intend to be taken seriously, but intentionally writes as a loony comic:)
    Job well done!

  4. I find it absolutely hysterical that you think that I am left wing.
    I am so not.
Just because I read, comment and show you guys opinions from someone other than Fox News, and I don't buy the party line on what the current Republican adminstration in no way shape or form makes me a left wing liberal.
I am a conservative who believes in almost zero federal government, I support states rights, I don't believe the welfare state is getting us anywhere and should be abolished, and quite frankly don't believe in free public education.
I don't know about you, but where I come from, that ain't liberal.
Oh, and I also believe in God, don't think the government should make the taxpayers pay for abortions, and believe we should continue to have the right to keep and bare arms.
But you think I'm a Liberal?

  5. Wymzie - You also obviously cannot take a joke.

  6. My dearest wymzie,

I'm sure you appreciate the fact that I assured all that you are NOT a left wing loon, but merely a loon!

Once again, however, I must take exception with your one of your statements: "and believe we should continue to have the right to keep and bare arms."
The 2nd amendment to our constitution says, "...the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." In no fashion does it address or even mention mention a right to bare arms! However, if dress codes are not being broken, I see no public outcry to abolish anyone's desire to go sleeveless!

I, too, believe in the law abiding public's constitutional right to BEAR arms. I wish not to humliate others in that cause by using the completely wrong word. A misspell is completely acceptable, but to use a totally wrong word enforces the opinion by our liberal enemies that those in favor of upholding our constitution in this particular are ignorant, bucolic buffoons. Please stop giving aid, comfort and comedy to the liberal enemies of our constitution!!

  7. Mr. Littleton,
For whatever reason you feel a constant need to point out any infraction of the English language that is misused in any way as a tool to discredit or demean the messenger is in my opinion poor form.
I am grateful for the fact that you understand the difference between right and left wing, however, I must say that your labeling is not only juvenile but wrong.
It is your opinion that I am an antisemitic loon. Loon; possibly. I do not take myself so seriously as to think that I may not be wrong or goofy on occasion, however, I do not judge a person based on his race or religion and feel hatred or disdain.
I actually make a conscientious decision to take an individual on his own merits before I form an opinion of him.
With regards to the article in which I sited John Haggee. I have listened to his sermons and have read his writings and have formed my opinions of him based on these. He eagerly awaits the Apocalypse, and wants to help God in bringing forth the second coming of Christ. He wants a front row seat.
My God is big enough to do anything He wants without anyones help. Certainly not the help of people stirring up an already volatile situation to bring about the Apocalypse. It is unfortunate that you would label me antisemitic because of this first hand knowledge of this mans agenda, but it is simply incorrect.

  8. Ms. wymzie.

I don't take myself too seriously either. I think you are strong enough to withstand criticism or you wouldn't put up posts for public consumption. Surely you realize that you will get strong, sometimes abrasive rebuttals from those with other views. I cringe when I see all the mistakes I make when writing. I just couldn't resist the bare vs. bear arms thing. But for your information and amusement, I made many mistakes in the comment to which you refer. I am so far from perfect, in any area, that when I call someone else out, I am laughing at myself the whole time:)
When I call you fuzzy thinking, vapid and diffuse, well, perhaps it takes one to know one.

I do read everything you write very carefully; that's how I could declare with certainity that you are no liberal.
I'm not sure I ever said you were anti-semitic. You, yourself, said you are anti-Zionist. Zionism is the belief that the Jews are entitled to the land according to the boundaries God laid out in the Old Testament. It's that simple; either one believes God meant that those physical boundaries, so clearly defined, belong to the Jews, or he or she doesn't believe the Bible! If one is a Muslim I can understand why they don't accept the Bible. If one is a Christian, I don't understand how they can argue with something so clearly stated!

As for Pastor Haggee, I don't watch him or any other televangelists! I find them mostly to be a despicable lot. I won't say all, but most seem to be chiefly concerned with making money. Too many others are caught in homosexual and straight sex scandals. How can anyone put any faith in hypocrites who practice the things they call sin and denounce to their congregations in the strongest of terms?
I do my own Bible reading and come to my own conclusions. My first conclusion was that it is a mistake to put much confidence in any preacher, priest, rabbi, Muslim cleric or any other religious leader other than the Dalai Lama, (he seems to be seems to be a sincere, honest delightful, wise man). As for my own religion, Christianity, I trust only God.

The reason I called your reasoning "fuzzy" is that you said in an earlier comment that as a Christian, you believe God gave that land to the Jews, but then went on to say you are anti-Zionist. How can one believe God gave it to the Jews, then fault them for claiming it according to the Biblical boundaries?

In any case, young woman, I don't consider myself your enemy, though you may conider me yours. My comments aren't personal since I don't even have a clue who you are. My castigations are directed at a fictional person named wymzie. In REAL person, I would treat you and anyone else with the utmost decorum. I really just have fun writing and expressing views. If you find me too abrasive, I will try to tone down for you:)

  11. concerning comment from anon 8:07:

Is the person who wrote this a small child, a grown moron or a degenerate on drugs? This person can't even frame a thought that can be understood by others. I doubt this babbler has read many
    "easays" of any kind.

  13. I read the incoherent ranting of anon 8:07 & 8:33 with much dismay and pity. These were obviously written by the same illiterate bufoon. He or she should confine their attempts at communication to the spoken word. Can anyone decipher what they are writing about? I can only ascertain that the author of these comments, with the writing skill & clarity of a Neanderthal, doesn’t like essays and has a preoccupation, maybe even a fetish for lawyers and law students. Other than that, his or her gibberish is completely incomprehensible!
