83 years old! To old to be driving an airplane. That guy's lucky if his next wings are on his back. Old farts like this need to walk.

  3. And I just arrested Mr. Crouch today, 08/24/08, for CDS possession, 4th degree sex offense and 2nd degree assault. So he's not having a very good weekend.

The age of the man in this instance has no bearing on whether he should be allowed to "drive" an airplane. He had landing gear problems and landed the plane anyway with no damage to himself or to others. I think that gives him the right to "drive" anything he damn well pleases.

  5. First of all it's "fly" not "drive" an airplane - Second of all if he trully had gear problems, he would have had the radioed the problem and police/ fire would have been at the airport. (not after the fact)Also, it's unlikely he would have chose the short runway at OXB......Lastly, it would have made more sense to fly back to FDK (if fuel was not an issue).
