I thought this might be a hoax; actually hoped it was, but snopes.com verifies the following info.
Obama The Patriot - Removes American Flag From His Plane
The Patriot Room
Posted on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 8:11:07 AM by Bill Dupray
Barack Obama recently finished a $500,000 total overhaul of his 757. And as part of the new design, he decided to remove the American flag from the tail...
What American running for President of the United States would remove the symbol of his country? And worse, he replaced the flag with it with a symbol of himself... Obama is such a despicable human being.
McCain's plane has no American Flag on it either... This is standard procedure for candidates to put there names and logos on the plane. Since McCain can't compete as far as issues are concerned this is what you are worrying about. 8 years of failed republican administration leaving this country in the worst shape in 70 years and you are arguing to vote in 4 more years of Bush policy.... open up your eyes. Stop trying to scare voters you sheep!
ReplyDeleteLook Joe,
ReplyDeleteI know this is your blog, and you have every right to say whatever you want. Mostly I'm happy that you do.
Just because I choose not to support the same candidate that you do does not make me stupid. It does not make me evil. And, as much as I enjoy reading, and participating in this forum, it's unlikely that I'm going to continue to come here with the same enthusiasm if every reference to any Democrat is personal. I know, I know....if I don't like what I read I can leave.
I may.
But consider this...around half of the readers of sbynews are supporting a candidate other than yours. I'm probably not the only person who feels this way. Can we at least agree to disagree, but in a non-insulting way?

ReplyDeleteWe don't need the flag in McCain's case -- ever heard of the Hanoi Hilton pal?
Obama ain't one of US! And I don't refer to his skin color.
And put a stopper on your simplistic prattle about "4 more years of Bush policy".
It appears that the following would be true of Obama's symbol:
ReplyDeleteOut of the ashes of the America we knew, raises the phoenix of a new world . . . which is merely a spirit of the old world . . . white and clean of any resemblance of the original America.
Where is this country going?? Have people completely lost the value of what it is to be American? This saddens me that someone who is running for President of the UNITED STATES can't even have anything to represent what he running for??
ReplyDelete$500,000 while regular americans are losing their homes. these people dont give a shit about us, neighter one of them. politics has become a joke, and politicians are shit. remember;
ReplyDeletewho controls the banks.
who controls the media
(these are the ones with the power).
history shows us weve been here befor.
The Big "O" has got to go.
ReplyDeleteI agree McCain cannot compete on the terms that the Democrats are trying to impliment. What do you want McCain to do, raise the Socialistic giveaway programs? Raise taxes higher than Obama and the Democracts are attempting to do? You want to complain about Pres. Bush, what about the Democrat controlled Congress? They have the lowest approval rating ever. The Democrat controlled Congress has to accept responsibility of the shape of the Country.
ReplyDeletenone of it matters,
ReplyDeletewhen your home became a burden and no longer an asset the foundation of the american dream died.
were all destined to see more of the same, the line between those who can and those who cant will continue to get further apart.
we will continie to lose the middle class hence making more and more people depend on the goverment to survive
corporations will continue there global march toward more profit regaurdless of the ramifications to this nation.
the national debt will continue to spiral out of control until the dollar is no longer valued in the world.
it seems that the middle class americans will soon be,or are soon to be "economicaly unvieable".
there a civil war coming people, cant you feel it in the air. its not going to be the first time weve had to fight to keep whats ours and defend our freedoms. when that time comes you will be with us or against us, there will be a line drawn in the sand. i know where ill be standing, do you?
Our national debt is now about 6 trillion dollars and rising about 1/2 trillion a year. When all tax dollars received by the government have to be used to service the interest on that debt is when we fall as a country. I don't know when that will happen but would be interested in what others think.
ReplyDeleteit isn't simplistic prattle about 4 more years of Bush Policy... there really are no differences. And the democratic congress can't get legislature passed due to the presidential veto...
ReplyDeleteWhy "ain't" Obama one of us? He is an american citizen and has dedicated his life to public service. While I applaud McCain's service to this country, the fact that he was a POW doesn't mean that he is more qualified as a leader. Try talking about issues rather than personal attacks on candidates for once. And if the argument is about taxes and economics, the McCain plan will bankrupt this nation with billions of extra tax breaks for the rich. You know who shaped McCain's economic policy? Phil Gramm -- the same senator who deregulated the mortgage industry and the same guy who opened up the commodities market to speculators. Oh and he also was a lobbyist for UBS investment bank -- whose interests does he serve... not mine. You can say that he was booted from the McCain camp for his "american's are whiners" quote, but his policies remain. Open your eyes and focus on issues... Baah you sheep.
Wonder what John Wane or Ronald Regan say.
ReplyDeleteObama is NOT for the AMERICAN people. How can anyone understand his views. He is running for President and can't even put his hand over his heart for the the National Anthem!!! Remember the fallen soldiers from previous wars that died so we have the right and freedom to make our own choices today. Does anyone remember O's wife comment about how she is FINALLY PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN NOW THAT A BLACK MAN IS ALLOWED TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT. Last time I checked he could have run for president a long time ago..... O yeah thats right he only has 147 days of experience in the Senate before he ran for president!!!!! That's who I want for my President. And one more thing, O's political trip overseas to visit our troops. My friend is over in Iraq and O came to where he is deployed. Guess what Mr. O never spoke to any soldiers on a personal level like he said he was going to do. In fact he cancelled his trip to the Med Hospital so he could go to the gym. This is accurate info because the soldier got the day off because he was assigned to the security detail until O cancelled on them. THATS A GOOD LEADER. GO RUN FOR PRESIDENT OF AFRICA SO YOU MAKE A CHANGE TO YOUR OWN ROOTS MR. OBAMA.
ReplyDeleteThis country is totally controlled by a bunch of "global elite". They have a plan for us and in due time we will be shown what is expected of us. These two stooges are their puppets. Wake up Americans! Your country is gone. Do you actually believe regular Americans would have chosen either of these lame people to be our political leader? These people are enslavers. The Federal Reserve and its accompanying Zionist global bankers are running this country . . . into the ground. Open borders, endless wars, spraying us from airplanes in plain sight, tainted tomatoes X make that jalapenos . . . who are these people? We're fighting "the terrorists" over there so we don't have to fight them over here? Take your tennis shoes off to get on the plane? Wake up!
ReplyDeleteI checked McCain's plane and it does have an American flag.... Just wait, for the Chosen One to take office. You think your taxes and gas are high now, just wait... The middle man will be screwed again and I expect uneployment will reach up to 7% and interest rates to 13-14%. Can we say Obama = Carter... When Iran drops a nuc on Isreal and the US then what... I say down with the chosen one!!!
ReplyDelete10:23 AM ,Most citizens younger than 40 would have no concept or belief that an America as we know it could fail. There is no guarantee of tomorrow, ask anyone over 70.Another post had a quote from Abe Lincoln that most people my age {54} recognized.I would be surprised if young people knew anything about Lincoln. We are in serious trouble in this country, and there is plenty of blame to go around.
ReplyDeleteOh my God... 11:24: You actually know what you're talking about, and aren't just parroting a bunch of incorrect internet rumors! THANK YOU!!!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, folks, can we elevate the level of discussion around here? All of the racist rants are getting a really old.
I don't want a president that doesn't know the difference between sunis and shiates. Or a potus that doesn't understand how the internet works. Or a potus that doesn't know who we are fighting and where they are located. A potus that originally lost against our current president, speaks out against him, and then turns around and shakes his hand. He says he has a difference in policies? Well listen to the american people. Some people want to stay in a war right now. The majority of americans DO NOT WANT TO BE IN WAR.
ReplyDeleteIts obvious because of Bush's approval rating. Go ahead vote Mccain. Keep failed policies going. Stay in a war that America doesn't want. And tarnish our image for the rest of the world.
P.S. This was written by a rep.
Mccain wins the presidency and we will see a large portion of people leaving the united states. If you don't like it...get out? right? well a large portion of people will.
In reality people are more likely to leave this country if Obama is elected. That would be great, the fewer liberals the better. Face reality 8:28, hope you are one that will leave.
