More Tagging/Graffiti In Salisbury

While the positive identification jury is still out on the woman murdered last week in Salisbury, across the street possible Gangs are still tagging the area to let others know this is their territory. Tagging is kind of like a dog peeing on a fire hydrant. Obviously the SPD isn't covering this area all that well if the tagging continues to happen on a daily basis. This is yet another trailer in the back of Lowe's parking lot.

  1. The body found in a wooded area in the north industrial park last week was a 26-year-old Salisbury woman.Jurewicz was arrested for prostitution in June and was scheduled to appear in district court on Aug. 18. Her picture is on Daily Times site. She was not an attractive prostitute.

  2. first of all, do you know how long it took someone to spray that...all of 2 seconds!

second of all, how do you know the truck wasn't pulled in from another city with the graffiti on it? (I think thats a fair ?)

third of all, I thought WCSO was spending a lot of time doing proactive work in that area?

  3. 1. Did you do the work to know how long it took?

    2. I drive by there every day, it was not delivered tagged.

    3. This property is in the City Limits, not the County.

  4. Correction. It is in the County but this patrol is expected to be done by the City.

  5. Yes I agree. The tag should not have taken more than thirty seconds. Looking at the tags size and the number of continuous lines it should not have taken long at all. When spray painting if you hold down in one spot for to long you'll get big blotches followed by bleeding, there is evidence of neither one there...

What I do not understand is why a Large company like Lowe's does not have a quality surveillance system around their building. Not only for their own safety but they are apart of our community and when there are things like this going on around them they should be proactive...

  6. No wonder the WCSO looks so good. The SPD is taking care of their territories. HAHA

  7. Joe, care to look at a light pole on Waverly near the intersection with Ohio? There appears to be some sort of large black tag on the pole, roughly a foot or two long.

  8. 1. Joe, I was not the one to tag it, however, I have spray painted before...legally! It doesn't take a genius to figure out how long it took!

    2. Is petty tagging not big enough for county? Since you claim they do all SPD's work for them anyway, I figure they can handle a punk kid marking "his" territory!
