Man Talking On Cell Phone While Fueling Sam's

Many Gas Stations have signs instructing you NOT to use your cell phone while pumping gas. I do believe Myth Busters proved this to be false, a cell phone won't spark/ignite gas but nevertheless, Sam's Club, (where these photos were taken) does have signs telling you NOT to use your cell phone.

  2. No laws broken. May be against company policy to leave hose unattended but let's not crucify this guy.

  3. If your filling up your vehicle while he fills the tanks you are asking for trouble. The sediment the gas is steering up in the tanks will go to ur vehicles tank.

  4. I do love Myth Busters, and I try to watch it every time I see it on, but I have a cousin that lives in Georgia, and she was a witness to to a fire that had started because a girl coould not stay off her cell. What she did wrong was that she got into her car while she was fueling and got out as well while she was still on her cell. The report was because of(something like) 'friction and fumes'

As long as you do not get in your vehicle, I guess.

  5. Friction caused static electricity which can create a small spark that could ignite the fumes.

As 10:32 states...do not fill up your tank if you see a truck onsite. You will get crap all through your tank.

  6. Hey moron, it's not the result of her being on her phone. It is a proven fact that clothing can cause friction which can create a spark, especially in women's clothing because they use more synthetic products. The cell phone had nothing to do with it. No wonder your family is from the south.. all the morons live there.

  8. i like to use my fueling time to do some spot welding work to my vehicle while smoking a cigerette or cigar. But talking on a cell phone while i fuel, youre just asking for trouble lol

  9. I'd rather be taken down by a policeman's taser, than burn up in a cellphone-related gasoline fire. Hey, what about them Russians?

  10. Gordy,
You need to chill out and act like a grown up here. There was no reason for you to be so rude.
