Social security numbers for more nearly 24,000 students at the University of Maryland were inadvertently printed on the mailing labels for a parking brochure, the Department of Transportation Services said in an email to students today.

should be fun for the students that move and aren't sure where their SSN will go!
ReplyDeleteThis is a higher learning institution use the word inadvertently which is just plain old BS!
ReplyDeleteAll higher ed was supposed to stop using SSNs for ID purposes years ago... have fun getting sued if someone’s identify gets stolen.
