This Is Why Pedestrians Get Killed
Just a few short steps further at the traffic light is a pedestrian cross walk. I know the Salisbury Police Department can't be bothered with small stuff like this right now but you know what, a few tickets and the word will get around so fast it isn't funny.
I consider Rt. 13 far more dangerous than Coastal Highway, seriously. Why in God's name would someone with a child in a stroller take such a risk, unless they don't give a sh!t? Unless they're possibly babysitting? Is this YOUR child? Do YOU know this woman?
And what slays me is that she is pushing the baby out first.
ReplyDeleteI used to live in LA, and I had a baby at the time and I was so afraid of the traffic and being able to cross the street safely with my stroller. I would actually pull the stroller through a lighted crosswalk or intersection so that I would be the first one in front of a car, not my baby!
OMG I would steer clear away from that fatty... Imagine what the damage would be to your vehicle... OH YEAH and she just could NOT walk to the crosswalk,, and she complains about NOT being able to LOSE weight,, Probably on mental medicine! Yeah ababy
ReplyDeleteIN ROUTE TO SHANIES HOUSE FOR A DOUBLE BIG MAC ATTACK
ReplyDeleteGranted she is an IDIOT for risking the childs life but why do people have to always make remarks about someones physical appearance on here?Anon 10:46,are YOU a perfect physical specimin?Leave the middle school sh*t out of it.
ReplyDeleteYou can be thick or thin and still be an idiot.Very dangerous situation, especially at that intersection!!
ReplyDeleteHey if she is so stupid or unwilling to cross in a crosswalk, that's her problem. If she get's hit it's on her not the driver. She is at fault, when it comes to court
ReplyDeleteMaybe some of you MISSED the fact that she's pushing a small child in the stroller?????????
ReplyDeleteCome on now, this was idiotic!
How weird-- I was driving by when you snapped that pic. I saw her, and thought to myself, "What the hell is wrong with that lady?". What a coincidence.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of surprised he is even in a stroller. I see her walking down Carroll Street with her son and he is always way ahead of her and never in a stroller or walking near her.
ReplyDeletethey want to be struck, so they can sue. had a guy step in front of me by the old oak's drive in. one in hand and one in a stroller. it'd solve the mouths to feed and unwanted over production issue-struggle.
ReplyDeletei would NEVER cross a major roadway in any manner, much less with a small child in hand.
Most lard asses won't bother to walk the extra 5 steps!
ReplyDeleteShe should be in the stroller with the baby pushing her!~
ReplyDeleteOn a similar note… was driving on Rt 13 in Pocomoke, just past the Wal-Mart, where a woman and her child were killed doing the same bone-head move. Wal-Mart put up a fence along the Rt 13 side in hopes of moving foot traffic to cross at the traffic light, but no such luck. I watched as two knuckleheads crossed the highway in the same place of the last fatality, and only to walk along the fence towards the traffic light, to get to the Wal-Mart.
ReplyDeleteMark my words, in a matter of weeks or months that fence will be ripped down or vandalized just so they can cut across the highway.
Maybe she's doing what they would do in Peiping China back in the mid-40's. They threw there babies in front of military vehicles because they gaot paid for the loss. That's a fact and maybe this women thinks she can get paid off in the same way?
ReplyDeleteA. Goetz
where is the father of that baby?
ReplyDeletetimely post, i agree with you joe that it is more dangerous than coastal highway where people use crosswalks for the most part. i think more should be done to slow down traffic on route 13 and to target jaywalkers
ReplyDeleteits is really bad on 13 across from the bus station with all the people crossing to get to the convenience store
