I Don't Do This Often

However, when someone puts up a REALLY good Post, I link to them. In this case, Councilwoman Cohen has outdone herself on the Deer situation and I'd like to send everyone over to their Site to see in detail exactly what has been said and done referencing this Deer. GO HERE to see their Posts.

Thank you Mrs. Cohen & Campbell. I know how busy you both are and to take the time to care for an animal as you have clearly done is amazing. Folks, if you care about that Deer please go to their Site and see how the Tilghman Administration will side step anything and everything that Joe Albero gets his hands on simply out of spite.

Oh Barrie, thousands upon thousands of people JUST GOT EDUCATED on you!

  1. This is why the mayor and her FOB's hate Cohen. (Also Campbell and Albero). Councilwoman Cohen is a caring and articulate person who does her homework, responds to constituents, and tries to get FACTS and FIGURES on what she is discussing. I am begging the residents of Salisbury: Go vote next city election in record numbers. Elect more people like Cohen and Campbell. I am, unfortunately, not privileged to do so, as I live outside the city limits. But I care about your city, have worked for your city in many ways, and hate what is happening. Please, fix it before it is too late. I think it can be done.

  2. Susan, THANK YOU for putting your name out there. We need MORE people like you to show they're NOT afraid of Barrie Tilghman and that her power of abusing people any longer is over. The more of US that get out there and stand up to this woman and Administration, the more she's going to look ridicuous as she goes to her sources to retaliate against us. Thank You Again, Joe

  3. Joe, I am new to your blog and am sorry I don't live in Salisbury where my vote would count. But I do care. I have a friend who works for the city who posts anon'ly because she has been the victim of retaliation by the mator and others. She has even caught FOB's, as you call them, peeking in her windows! This mayor is scary!

  4. Susan, your friend needs to set animal traps under her windows. Let them explain in a court of law why they were under her windows when they are arrested with a bear trap hanging off their calf. When she calls the police be sure to call the Sheriff's office, all she'll get from SPD is "we don't have anyone to send".

    This has got to stop.

  5. 9:26 AM--too funny! But in some locales, that is illegal, even tho the person would be a trespasser on your property. What if a young child wandered out and got caught in it? Or an innocent wild animal that we share our space with (rabbit, deer, etc.)? I did suggest to her once that she put piles of "cow patties" under her windows for him to step in! And it makes good fertilizer!

  6. In law school we learned of the case where someone rigged a shotgun with a string, known as a "spring gun", to fire if anyone jimmied in the front door to steal from him.
    1)The device worked-big time
2)The dude lived (albeit with quite a nice limp)and won like a 30k tort liability judgment against the property owner. (Katko v. Briney).

Sorry folks! Still have to do it the old fashioned way and wait in the closet with your shotgun until they actually enter the house.

  8. Doug Wilkerson, right on!

There are whistleblower laws that city employees can use as a shield.

I just saw an article about a bank clerk in Lichtenstein (sp?) who violated his COUNTRY's laws of secrecy to expose secret bank account holders of something like 12 different countries, including ours! Poor guy is in hiding, but our congressional leaders are calling him a whistleblower hero for stopping this international bunch of thieves!

If a guy like that can do what he can without protection, SURELY someone here can do it WITH protection!

  9. Doug Wilkerson, who are you? Are you stating you talked to my friend referenced in my post of 8:16 AM? If that is what you are saying, I doubt it. And just when would this have been?

  10. 12:54 PM-- You said a mouthful. "Poor guy is in hiding..." Well, not everyone is willing to put their family through that. And somehow, in Salisbury, you don't even have to be a whistleblower to get on the mayor's bad side. Ask any of her non-supporters! If you think it can't happen to you, think again! I notice YOU kept your comment anonymous! Why? I will also stay anonymous because I KNOW what can happen!

  11. 7:02 p.m. My name is Ed Parker. I live out of state. So my ID is meaningless.

You can then say, "Easy for you to say." But I have a dear friend who did the whistle blower thing at his company. It sure as hell isn't easy. But thanks to him, his customers won't be defrauded any more. I'd give details, but he had to sign something in the settlement that he wouldn't disclose any of it.

I guess my point is...there is strength in numbers. If more people will "take a stand on the table," you will see change.

    Didn't mean to offend anyone.

  12. Joe, thank you for doing this!

That is GREAT stuff over there! Both about the deer and that low-life mayor.
