The Ocean City Police Department would like to invite you to the Gang Recognition Identification Training session which is being held to educate business owners.
The sessions will be offered twice daily:
Dates: Monday July 14th & Tuesday July 15th
Time: 8:00am - 11:00am OR 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Place: OC Convention Center -Room 215
The training will be conducted by recently retired TFC Greg Kies of the MD State Police Homeland Security Investigative Division, MD Coordination & Analysis Center.
The training will cover the following: identification of gang members, active gangs (outlaw motorcycle, west coast, Latin groups and Eastern European/Russian gangs) in the Delmarva and surrounding areas. The seminar will include identification of gang members, gang recruitments, organized gang related agendas and common gang criminal activities.
The OCPD's proactive community based training initiatives are the best form of crime prevention by keeping citizens well informed of potential illegal activities in their community.
You do not need to RSVP, just show up next Monday or Tuesday.
IF YOU CAN’T MAKE THE OCEAN CITY SESSION, the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a three hour, “Gang Recognition Identification” training on July 16th 2008, Newark fire training center Newark Maryland The training will be offered twice during the day starting: 8:00—11:00 a.m. or 1pm - 4pm

The training will also be offered at the OCVFC headquarters Tuesday evening, I am sure they would welcome anyone, it's the only evening time. 7:30 PM, this Tuesday.
