An E-Mail From Ireland

An email from Ireland to all of their brethren in the States...a point to ponder despite your political affiliation:

'We, in Ireland, can't figure out why you people are even bothering to hold an election in the United States.

On one side, you had a pants wearing female lawyer, married to another lawyer who can't seem to keep his pants on, who just lost a long and heated primary against a lawyer, who goes to the wrong church, who is married to yet another lawyer, who doesn't even like the country her husband wants to run !

Now...On the other side, you have a nice old war hero whose name starts with the appropriate 'Mc' terminology, married to a good looking younger woman who owns a beer distributorship!

What in God's name are ya lads thinkin over in the colonies !

  3. "Mc" is more of a Scottish thing, but a Celt's a Celt, I guess.

At least his last name isn't "Bush" LOL!!

In case any of you ignoramuses and bigots care, Hussein is a variant transcription of HUSAYN. This is where if comes from: "Husayn ibn Ali (also called Al-Hussein) was the son of Ali and the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad....The massacre of Husayn and his family caused the split between Shiite and Sunni Muslims, which continues to this day."

Not that is matters much. Besides, how many of us get to choose our middle name? How has your middle name affected who you are? Hasn't affect me except for people to make fun of it.

Muhammad and Islam are not inherently bad, it's just the crazy, relatively small group of radical fundamentalists subverting the truth for their own gain. And no, I dont mean the Republicans.
